The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested the man who recorded cellphone video of Ahmaud Arbery being shot and killed.
William Roddie Bryan, 50, shot the video that showed what appears to be Gregory and Travis McMichael shooting and killing Ahmaud Arbery while he was out jogging in February.
In a news release, the GBI said it charged Bryan with felony murder and criminal contempt to commit false imprisonment.

Only two in that equation. They can’t give the break to the actual shooter - Travis.
...for the poster to get the boot off FR
Yup
“Play stupid games like vigilante, win stupid prizes.”
The winner of that prize goes to Aubrey for his decision to wrestle a loaded scatter gun from a citizen.
Ha Ha you are an idiot
See # 45
This is going to be even harder to prove than the other two defendants. As far as we know, he was only armed with a camera and filming is a 1st amendment protected activity. I suspect that the prosecution will need to prove intent by use of prior acts or by showing intent prior to the action.
You see this?
And the citizen and his father and friend are facing murder charges that could land them in jail for the rest of their life if convicted. Looks like they won the stupid prize themselves.
I would point out that “They called 911 and gave the video from their camera to the police” ... happened in this case as well.
Only two in that equation. They cant give the break to the actual shooter - Travis.
Yeah, Travis cant cut a deal.
The other two can.
The arrest of Wiliam puts pressure on Greg.
Guess we'll soon be going back to the murders by Jack Ruby and Sirhan and charging the people who filmed the act with murder...
In fact, all those videos made by people of things like airline crashes or the Twin Towers destruction on 9/11 should also be charged with crimes...
My guess is that YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and all cell phone owners will provide evidence for millions of crimes that will need prosecuting now...
Completely irrelevant to the case.
And I have no opinion on guilt or no guilt of any of the parties.
Can you, or GBI for that matter, prove he knew what was going to happen?
agreed.
The prosecutor is basically taking orders from the lawyers for Mr. Arbery. What a set of toothless defense attorneys that are representing these guys. If I was handling this case, I would be out on TV every night hammering home the fact that Arbery was not a jogger. This is disgusting.
“And the citizen and his father and friend are facing murder charges that could land them in jail for the rest of their life if convicted. Looks like they won the stupid prize themselves.”
To be expected when dealing with a corrupt DA as well as a slew of race baiters.
My money would be on “Roddy”.
The dad was the one who started the chase. He ordered his son to come and bring his gun.
The dad should get the largest sentence. He was a former cop, should have known the laws, and should not have put himself and his family and friends in that postion.
I thought they recused themselves?
