Smoking does increase the risk of getting coronavirus, according to a major British study that disputes growing evidence that the habit is protective.

A team at Imperial College London looked at 2.4million Britons, of which 11 per cent reported smoking.

All participants were users of the COVID Symptom Study app, which asks people to regularly report their health and if they have symptoms of the coronavirus, helping to build a clearer picture of the UK's outbreak.

Stench? Maybe you have covid. Nothing finer than the aroma of a fine cigar or premium pipe tobacco.

Smoking anything-— hint hint-— marijuana, tobacco, crack cocaine, meth..... the effect of all this is on the primary smooth muscle and alveolar tissues of the lung, which are damaged and thus.... reduced in the capacity to pull oxygen out of inhaled air and get it into red blood cells for distribution of the essential element to the rest of the body.

Or do like the throat cancer patients who are on oxygen do— when they have a tracheostomy (breathing hole called a stoma),
while suffering from lung and tracheal cancer-—

they continue to smoke (while on nasal cannula oxygen with a flowing tank line)— by putting the cigarette right up and into the stoma, and inhale.

MJ, Corona-virus effects harmful.

Advocacy imperils both mind and body. Be assured COVID-19 will be followed by something worse.

I started smoking cigars two weeks ago because I read an article that smokers were at lower risk. I find I enjoy a cigar even more every day. Looking forward to some golf and cigars this weekend.

Tobacco’s deleterious effects on developing brains are unproven.

ELEVEN MILLION dependent on marijuana use:

But it doesn’t keep the noses of those who rabidly oppose the stench from our business and butts.

Irrelevant to coronavirus - and still leaves tobacco quite harmful.

ELEVEN MILLION dependent on marijuana use

480 million dependent on tobacco:

That’s easy-— the food leaps repeatedly into the mouth of the obese one, needing more calories just to move around. That is, in the case of non-metabolic caused obesity. People eat, to excess, and diabetics push more and more carbs on themselves even though the insulin receptors no longer work to metabolize. Vicious circle.
