>>>Barr has been AG over a year. If he was going to move against the coupists he would have done it long ago.
One thing to remember, Barr has spe m t the past four decades as an advocate of unchecked Executive Power. He is pretty much in the camp that “when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal.”
The previous administration is a sidebar issue and a convenient campaign season distraction for the GOP at this point. The big issue is the ongoing bipartisan coup because it affects Trump’s ability to govern as the duly elected POTUS.
Gaspipe Barr won’t touch the coupists rampaging through Main DOJ and the IC with a 10 foot pole. Now why would that be? The answer, obviously, is he is covering up the GOPe role in the coup. Should that become widely known GOP voter morale will crumble and GOTV for 2020 will collapse.
Your post deserves two responses:
1. William Barr spent more than 25 years outside of government as a corporate attorney before he was nominated to the AG post by President Trump.
2. There's a huge difference between "unchecked Executive Power" and "separation of powers under the U.S. Constitution." Read up on Mr. Barr's background on this and notice where he's put his energy.
True. He apparently also believes it's OK for feral agents to shoot an unarmed woman in the head as she's holding her infant daughter.
