Hopefully there’s no trend here. Even in peace time, military operations can be very dangerous.

Training adds an element of this also.

Along the way to becoming competent in an aircraft you first start in the incompetent stage. Things can go wrong during this transition.

If they were two of the same aircraft I'd be concerned it was a design flaw such as prematurely aged parts or something. But two different aircraft type point more to (1) tragic accident or (2) training issues or (3) general maintenance issues.

I'm sure the folks at Eglin are besides themselves right now. Such a shame for these two back to back tragedies to hit like this.
