The Seattle City Council is calling on Washington state to create a $100 million “relief fund” for illegal immigrants who did not qualify for the federal stimulus checks issued last month -- the latest push by left-wing politicians to give money to those in the country illegally.
The city’s council passed a resolution Monday asking Gov. Jay Inslee to create a “Washington Worker Relief Fund” to provide “economic assistance to undocumented Washingtonians during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
According to The Seattle Times, the vote was 9-0 and Mayor Jenny Durkan was to sign the measure.
“Looking out for the most vulnerable in our community is even more critical in times of crisis,” Durkan said, according to The Times. “It is all the more important to ensure we are not pushing people further into the shadows.”
While it is an unbinding resolution, and therefore only calls for such a fund rather than actually creating one, it is the latest push by Democrats across the country to include illegal immigrants in on taxpayer-funded stimulus checks.

Sadly, the nuttiness of the Seattle City Council is infecting the King County Council. There’s no refuge.
Even today in many places you can drive by a Home Depot, Lowe’s whatever every morning and they are getting picked up for the days work by contractors who don't pay American wages and don't want to pay American benefits..
Until you get rid of the demand, either legal or illegal, nothing will change..
This excellent news for us in Eastern Washington as it may temporarily rid of us of these folks as they migrate to Seattle to collect the bennies.
Expect an increase in traffic related deaths, domestic violence, and gang activity.
Deport them all.
A bus ticket and a single grilled cheese sandwich for the whole trip is all they should be given.
Help them become legal citizens. Teach them a trade. Help them find a job.

The only correct term is “Illegal Alien” according to immigration law which is the only law that matters.
