A former Republican presidential candidate who eventually endorsed Donald Trump in 2016, he has also worked with Democrats on the panel on its investigation into Russian election interference and other matters.

Rubio steps in to lead Senate Intelligence CommitteeThe Senate Intelligence Committee is deeply corrupt. The Rubio appointment will insure it stays that way.

The Intelligence Committee was supportive of the Mueller investigation, right? Burr, Rubio and the rest of them, GOP as well as Dems, right?

Agree with your thoughts, but honestly, didn’t expect much so I’m not disappointed. Hopefully, there are other avenues to get the truth out and we will have to hope for those methods to prevail. However, you would have to think that at some point, the committee and the Senate as a whole would be embarrassed at how brazenly they condone the corruption. Trump has been easy on them because he has no choice. He needs their cooperation on so many other issues, he can’t burn his bridges with the Senate.

That committee has long sidelined itself anyway, due to the large number of members on the take, and Trump has been able to get around them for four years already.

Micro Amnestio Rubio is Mitch’s pick, not a surprise.

He would have been the best one. Sadly, he lacked the needed seniority.
