The district was GOP held for years prior to Hill, I don’t see why everyone thinks it’s such big deal that the GOP won in back after a RAT resigned in disgrace. Its not William Jefferson’s district where the GOP managed to win an overwhelmingly RAT district that hadn’t voted Republican in 120 years.

I know that turd Al Franken is now having "deep regret" over his resignation, given that other RATS have done far worse and continued their "public service" in Washington for decades anyway.
Franken's problem is they were just going to promptly replace him with another DemonRat, so he was expendable. If there was any danger his resignation could result in the seat going Republlican, he'd still be there.
