Baker County Circuit Court Judge Matt Shirtcliff this morning issued a preliminary injunction declaring Gov. Kate Brown's executive orders related to the coronavirus pandemic as "null and void."
Attorneys for the governor said they would file a motion seeking review of Shirtcliff's decision by the Oregon Supreme Court.
The judge granted injunctive relief to the plaintiff's which was basically all churches and businesses in Oregon, to resume activities, with appropriate social distancing in place. All of the authoritarian Governor's orders are now NULL AND VOID.
Obviously Ms. Gov of Oregon and her statist minions will be infuriated by this, and seek to have it stayed. The she-fascist has already said she's taking it directly to the State Supreme Court and bypassing the appeals courts.

Hopefully some restaurants start to reopen this afternoon.

Every Judge on the Oregon Supreme Court are lefty democrats. This will be overturned. But at least one Judge gave Brown a bloody nose. Coronavirus has been statistically insignificant in Oregon.
There will likely be more court fights soon on this in Oregon, but for the moment, Oregon businesses are free to open, as the Governor's power has been declare "NULL AND VOID" by the judge.

I don’t know the mechanics of suspending Constitutional rights, but Oregon has done it for two months to the day today.
I have little doubt the godless democrat Oregon supreme court will follow the governors wishes.
Really, you have that great of need to start a fight on good news? May I suggest you take up wood-carving or pottery to fill your time? If not, there are usually places that need some touch up paint. Even if not that, the grass could probably use your attention to see if it is actually growing.

This is my home State. I have looked at the OHA dashboard and we have almost nothing now. This is the first shot across the bow. If needed, maybe the the next shot could be Federal. Perhaps this might apply: Title 18 U.S.C. Section 242, Deprivation of Civil Rights under Color of Law. Interesting reading. Be well.
Interesting on the 28 day rule. The godless democrat Oregon supreme court may actually have to agree with the judge. Governor Brown does have the godless democrat legislature on her side, so it may take her a little longer.
I wonder how this affects the $14,000 citation fine the godless democrat Oregon OSHA issued against the Salem salon.
Look at the actions in the "bake the cake" law.
Gov. Bisex is now treating every business in the state like the cake shop. To some extent, many deserve it (for supporting the Liberal takeover of Oregon)
