President Barack Obama’s Treasury Department regularly surveilled retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn’s financial records and transactions beginning in December 2015 and well into 2017, before, during and after when he served at the White House as President Donald Trump’s National Security Director, a former senior Treasury Department official, and veteran of the intelligence community, told the Star Newspapers.
“I started seeing things that were not correct, so I did my own little investigation, because I wanted to make sure what I was seeing was correct” she said. “You never want to draw attention to something if there is not anything there.”
The whistleblower said she only saw metadata, that is names and dates when the general’s financial records were accessed. “I never saw what they saw.”
By March 2016, the whistleblower said she and a colleague, who was detailed to Treasury from the intelligence community, became convinced that the surveillance of Flynn was not tied to legitimate criminal or national security concerns, but was straight-up political surveillance among other illegal activity occurring at Treasury.
“When I showed it to her, what she said, ‘Oh, sh%t!’ and I knew right then and there that I was right – this was some shady stuff,” the whistleblower said.
“It wasn’t just him,” the whistleblower said. “They were targeting other U.S. citizens, as well.”
Only two names are listed in the whistleblower’s official paperwork, so the others must remain sealed, she said. The second name is Paul J. Manafort Jr., the one-time chairman of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
The other names include: Members of Congress, the most senior staffers on the 2016 Trump campaign and members of Trump’s family, she said.

I have a better idea. The federal budget is set a percentage of the GDP, say 1%. You defund the government and it will become smaller. And the government is not allowed to calculate the GDP. Independent organizations will do that.

Marcus was a former State Dept. official who helped to form the leftist, then Marxist Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), which hired many well known Marxists and communists as “Fellows” to attack and destroy US intelligence agencies, State Dept. policies which went against the Communist Bloc nations, and against general US foreign policies against communist aggression, expansion and subversion.
Marcus Raskins, in my opinion, and that of others who have been involved in both official or unofficial (private) internal security work, was a willing Soviet “asset”, if not a willing KGB asset/operative.
The best book on IPS and Raskins, Morton Halperin and Richard Barnett (another hardcore communist) is S. Steven Powell’s book “Covert Cadre: Inside the Institute for Policy Studies”, Green Hill Publishers, 1987.
Jamie Raskin is a chip off the old communist block in his politics despite the Washington Post’s cover up of his far-left ideology and activities.
I’m sure his wife is not a member of the Federalist society.

This suggests to me more and more that they all knew in their gut early on that Trump was winning in 2016.

Hopefully, with this President and this AG, she won’t need the spotlight. If her info is correct then investigations and prosecutions should follow. But, this is DC and the ultimate two-tiered justice system.
I’m curious to know if the AG, having been in the mix before but not during the last administration, is shocked at the level of corruption and criminality that has taken/is taking place.
The problem is the Rats don’t think twice about criminalizing political opposition. The press & the public for the most part go along with it where they should be screaming bloody murder about it. Prosecutors, judges, politicians who support it should be roasted alive politically if not jailed. It’s the public’s job to hold politicians that do this accountable. The public never does. Whenever any sort of a protest is made the Rats wrap themselves with the Race Card or the Vagina Card or both & the public gets intimidated and goes back to sleep. This creates a very Turd World political environment where you can’t give up office. Julius Caesar marched on Rome because the Senate was going to prosecute him.
Mark my words when Trump leaves office and sometime in the future a Rat wins he Presidency again, if Trump is alive he will be prosecuted. Heck he might be prosecuted even if dead. Dug up and brought to the court room like that 8th century Pope was!
