I have heard that NM might be making a comeback politically, at least as voting for president. They liked W Bush. (Waiting for incoming about border enforcement...)

Partner, NM did not have any fencing that would stop the vermin Illegal Aliens from coming to the U.S.

We have driven I-10 in NM and we saw the Illegal Aliens congregating in a Road Side bathroom and water facilities off of I-10.

It is a conservative area. No doubt the liberal governor would love to wipe the city out.

Most of Upstate NY knows how that feels.

People that are dissatisfied right now are the productive people, they should all move out and let the place burn down behind them. They should move some place where they can be pursue happiness which is their right.

A family member who lives in NYC said the real estate market is gonna to crash, since many companies are now realizing that they and their employees do not have to put up with the high rents, lousy conditions and insane taxes of NYC. Even some theatrical companies and other entertainment industry players are thinking about relocating to smaller cities and just touring in NY because costs had gotten so insane that It meant unaffordable ticket prices, especially with the plunge in tourism (which may go on for awhile).

NYC can rise to the challenge or not. With DeBlasio, I’d say “not,”

Lots of unintended consequences popping up out of this. I expect the tyrants to double down on some form of stupidity to compensate for it though it'll eventually lead to their undoing if not dismissal if they fail to savvy up any.

Was visiting Durango awhile back and decided to see Farmington.
Place was like a high desert town not worth seeing.
Went to a store that sold gas, guns, produce and booze.
What else could anyone need?

I used to live in Farmington. It was always a booming economy when I was there. After I left, I went back in 1985 and saw caravans of cars leaving the area. I know it was then in a “Bust” cycle. It looked good in 2013 and 2015.

No, Walt.
Have been to the area in our Rv’s many times for weeks at a time.
Only went to Farmington, once.
Not worth going back to.
From this area there is so much history and nature.

I understand the feeling. It’s not on the way to anywhere. And there’s not a lot exciting to do in the county. Nevertheless, extremely few quakes. No near volcanoes. Extremely rare small twisters. Close to Colo. Lots of archaeological sites. Will see how it goes with all the jobs leaving.
