Don’t limit it to china. Do executive order stating that we no longer trade with countries governed by communist ideologies. Then cut them all off. We should be trading with other democracies and on an even footing.

China becomes North Korea on steroids and with a huge war chest. But they still do not have the international stature to control much more than the surrounding hegemony, of which there are several that are actually much more aligned with the US than with China, for the most part.
It is a huge gamble in the game of international chess that Trump is playing, and the end objective and result will be to break China, much as Reagan broke the Soviet Union, by forcing them to spend themselves into oblivion and bankruptcy.
Chin’a resources are nowhere nearly as great as those of the United States, even though this country is going through struggles of its own.
I’d say the ast phome call President Trump had with Xi , likely about Red China’s hacking onto The FDA, CDC, datya bases involving US virus research, did not go well.

I don’t know if I agree with that rule actually.
I believe strongly, we should include Vietnam. They are industrious, basically anti-Chinese, and frankly I believe they are more pro-Vietnamese, than fundamentally Marxist. Yes they are (almost obsessively) pro Ho Chi Minh. Hugely so. But I think he is a huge part of what holds the country’s focus. Not necessarily hard core Marxism.
Yes the country identifies as socialist/marxist. But I think a portion of that is they strongly believe in being united. But maybe I don’t really understand.
Might just be personal bias, but I feel very much at ease here.
