CNN) Attorneys for Gregory McMichael, one of the men charged in the shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery, said Friday that "a very different narrative" will be revealed when all the facts come out.
"The truth will reveal that this is not another act of violent racism," Frank Hogue said at a news conference. "Greg McMichael did not commit murder."

"Our client has not been charged the same as his son," Laura Hogue said. "He's been charged as a party to the crime, which is a Georgia statute that holds an individual who aids or abets or facilitates a crime, with the same responsibility as the individual who actually perpetrated the crime."
I guess this is what courts and juries are for.

I don’t know Frank Hogue but he has a good resume (well-known Macon attorney). Will have to study up on him and ask some lawyer friends of mine for their opinions.
It's all about the narrative and getting that narrative out in the public eye before the facts are investigated.

I think they’ll both get good lawyers. This is going to be a BIG case and there are plenty of good lawyers who will want to take the McMichael’s side.
A jury will determine that.

This isn’t Zimmerman-Trayvon, though, where Zimmerman clearly was subject to homophobic attack without provocation.
