I spoke with someone in the “business” of education. They are petrified on the college level as the one good thing that may come from the CCP virus is the fact more and more students will take virtual classes for a fraction of the cost rather than spend $50k/$60k annually to go to college.

As for basic academic skills, I think it’s been proven many times over that home-schoolers are well above their age-group peers in academic performance. What “democratic values” and exposure to alternative views are kids getting in public schools? That the founding fathers were a bunch of evil, white, slave-owning men?
