WASHINGTON — Federal agents seized a cellphone belonging to a prominent Republican senator on Wednesday night as part of the Justice Department’s investigation into controversial stock trades he made as the novel coronavirus first struck the U.S., a law enforcement official said.
Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, turned over his phone to agents after they served a search warrant on the lawmaker at his residence in the Washington area, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss a law enforcement action.
The seizure represents a significant escalation in the investigation into whether Burr violated a law preventing members of Congress from trading on insider information they have gleaned from their official work.

Good! I heard on Fox News that there were four members of Congress who sold all of their stocks a week before the news hit; they had been briefed on the coronavirus just a week before. They cashed in their stocks and bought stocks on 3M and every other company that produced any product used to make things to fabricate things for PPE.
Burr has also been leading interference for the Deep State to keep President Trump from getting the folks he wanted to serve in intelligence positions.
However, POTUS is a quick study and has finally maneuvered his opponents into an untenable position by appointing a bulldog as acting DNI director while he re-nominates a pit bull for the permanent position.
Now he’s moving to take out the lead blocker.

Are they also going to look into Sen Feinstein who did similar? Or is it only Republicans they will look into. Burr definitely needs to be investigated, but so does Feinstein and the gal from GA
