Psychology, conflicting rules, misinformation and anxiety fueling bad behavior and violence, experts say

As a culture war rages across the nation over whether to wear protective masks, closer to home the battle is spilling over into store aisles and shopping center parking lots with alarming frequency — and at times violent consequences.

Los Angeles police this week announced the arrest of two brothers who allegedly assaulted store employees and a security guard who attempted to escort them from a Target in Van Nuys for refusing to wear masks. ...

You do realize that the idea of wearing a mask is to protect OTHERS right? It has nothing to do with ‘virtue signaling’.

Go ahead, don’t wear one, I don’t believe you’re required to as I believe these ‘orders’ are unconstitutional.

That said, I wear one because I may be unknowingly sick, it’s not a huge burden.

“So maybe I should get a kefiya. It at least lets you breath.”

That's what I do along with black BDU pants, Black Shemagh and a German army Falschirmjager combat jacket.

Looks like I walked out of a ISIS video. Boy does that make those virtue signalers uncomfortable.

No one should be shamed for wearing a mask.

No one should be shamed for not wearing a mask.

People need to stop trying to control other people.

I dont mind wearing a mask.

And dark sunglasses with a ball cap pulled down low.

I point my “face” right at security cameras.

The can probably tell I am laughing but that is about it.

Its going to be even more fun when the progs freak next fall and claim there are “re-emerging outbreaks” in an attempt to demand fraud-by-mail.

Mask - shades - ball-cap - jacket - gloves.

Last winter I would have gotten busted by security for going in a store dressed like that.

A virtue signal is when someone does a visible but ultimately meaningless act.

Which is exactly what your wearing a mask is.

Your wearing one will not keep anyone from catching anything. But it makes you feel like you are doing something.

It is like the signs "Whatever area" STRONG. Does exactly nothing but it makes the sign maker feel like they are doing something.

Do what you want but know that it is useless and unless you are taking steps to keep your mask sterile you might even be making yourself or others sick.

Why do you think that they are encouraging people to use disposable shopping bags again?

“Wear the mask, Stop the disease.“

Wow, really? I assume you must know that no amount of masks can stop a virus right? Lets just start with the fact that viruses can enter through the human eye.

There is only one way humanity has stopped viruses and it is immunity. Good news though, God created you in such a way that you are ready for this battle.

Even the sheeple can get tired of masks. I live in lib-ville, and most of them are not wearing masks while they are outside.

Wonder, Watching you “Karen-shame” a medical doctor on viruses is surreal. Bravo. [#standing slow claps] Your “I want to speak to your manager”, throw caution to the wind attitude literally gives me life... Respek.

Aside from that thought - I’d like to announce that I’m having a public mask burning at the Walmart parking lot later if anyone’s interested... I hear the rising smoke keeps COVID away and I am super in to not getting COVID through the utilization of voodoo, unfounded opinion, and crazy ridiculous anti-science superstition. We’re in this together. Stop buying so much tp and stay safe, America. [#bro hugs]

I am probably <2 miles from you on the Hoschton side. The Hamilton Millers are a colony of Karens. My wife and I have raised a few of their eyebrows when we stroll around Publix mask-free.

Thanks for your volunteer work.

I’m getting 20+ emails a day from suppliers who are now selling masks. I honestly can’t tell you from which I saved that.

The key is that it simply doesn’t matter. Unless you are wearing a hospital grade N95 mask, that disclaimer applies.
It is also important to know that nearly no one even uses these (useless) masks properly anyway. Once you have the (already useless) mask on, if you touch it with your hands it is contaminated. If you take it off and put it on again you have contaminated it.

And we are being told that we can throw on a homemade mask fabricated from fabric and realize protection from it. If you make your own mask, it is already (medically speaking) contaminated when you slap it on your face.

As far as your bishop is concerned, if he is a true believer, none of these facts will sway him.

> Doctors/nurses do not want to exhale their usually benign personal flora into an open wound.

Is that why many N95 masks have an exhaust valve?

Googling the phrase turns up a number of suppliers. Actually I used duckduckgo - https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Not+intended+for+medical+use%2C+not+recognized+by+the+CDC+or+FDA+as+safe+or+effective+against+covid-19+or+any+virus%2C+no+guarantee+item+will+protect+user+from+any+illness&ia=web

I was in Kroger, sans mask, but wearing my “I Love My AK-47” tee shirt. Another shopper took off his mask and told me he liked my tee.
