CNN announced Wednesday it will feature teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg in its next "Coronavirus: Facts and Fears" town hall program set for Thursday night on the cable channel.
The town hall, hosted by "AC 360" anchor Anderson Cooper and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, will also include former acting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Richard Besser and former Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Both officials served in the Obama administration.
The town hall on Thursday night comes one week after the network welcomed filmmaker Spike Lee as well as former Vice President Al Gore to discuss COVID-19.
Thunberg has become an outspoken figure, drawing considerable media attention since leading school strikes in her home country of Sweden in 2018.
Thunberg was awarded Time's Person of the Year award while also being nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2019.
Thunberg said earlier this year that she had recovered from what she believed were mild coronavirus symptoms.

She has to be quite happy now. She quit going to school; now, almost no children anywhere in the world still go to school. She demanded an end to aviation; now, passenger aircraft have dropped 96%. She demanded an end to petroleum; now, despite very rapidly collapsing production, we have so much petroleum that we cannot find places to store it even with record low prices. She led the way to a meat-free diet; now, even meat-hungry Americans give up meat because the meatpackers closed. She insisted that every world leader panic; now, very few have not induced their entire economies into severe panic. Sure, the economy collapsed, but that’s tremendous progress for her agenda in a matter of a few months. I’m sure that new restrictions on human life will ensue shortly, especially if Democrats win election in November. Then, the once-mighty American economy will collapse entirely into something more like North Korea or Venezuela.
This shutdown has stolen my dreams for Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring...
No, they’ve been quiet because they’re feeling victorious. This has been their whole goal all along: shut down modern society and impose a leftist “eco-dictatorship.” The Dems have succeeded in implementing this beyond their wildest dreams.

CNN going to any lengths to bring in the true experts of this virus. Seemingly there is no bottom to CNN’s credibility.
This is just the initial step to raise “global warming/climate change/whatever-the-hell-else-it’s-called to the same “level of threat” as the Chinese virus.
