We did that. Then the likes of GOPe like McCain worked with Obama to suppress conservatives.

A lot of the ones in the past 15 years have been no great shakes. One of the worst that comes to mind is Mary Louise Smith, another “Affirmative Action” hire by Jerry Ford in 1974. She was on the wrong side of premier social issues: a pro-abort ghoul for Planned Infanticide and an ERA nutter. They’d have been better off hiring a real feminine icon, Phyllis Schlafly.
In spite of him, not because of him. He was AWOL with our special election candidates (ask FReeper Chicago Lady, who ran for Rahm Emanuel’s open House seat and Steele couldn’t be bothered to reach out to her). It was the Tea Party movement that mobilized to take back the House and reaction to Emperor Zero’s Communist overreaches. But Steele ? Nope. He didn’t build that.

I hate that “grown ass man” phrase. Obama’s more like an ass-grown man, as in he came from his mom’s butt. Steel also, obviously, I so regret supporting him for RNC Chair (Blackwell was my first choice)
I heard Steele will be joining “RINO Losers for Biden and a Stalinist Supreme Court where Clarence Thomas is replaced by Stacy Abrams or Judge Hatchett.”
I wish I could find the photo taken just after Obama’s election of Republican “Golden Individual” Michael Steele tearfully embracing Barack and Michelle, who were smiling oh so knowingly; but it’s been scrubbed. If anyone has it, please post it.

Steele is just trying to ingratiate himself to the leftist msnbc audience and to the urbanites who may be watching by trying to display a little "blackness" in an effort to gain some street cred. Classic case of over-compensation.
