This is how RATS cheat. They will find boxes of “forgotten ballots”.
Just watch!
I think that Garcias margin is well beyond vote fraud election stealing by ballot harvesting... ;)
We shall soon see who is too naïve, and who is too pessimistic ;).
That is how bad our elections have gotten.
Good GOP turnout in Cal.
I actually think you are right, but I refuse to leave a shot at the Democrats on the table. :)
I see that the ballot harvesting concern trolls are out in full force today
“I actually think you are right, but I refuse to leave a shot at the Democrats on the table. :)”
Ha!!! Fair enough ;)
Whats the story behind this win?
This is smaller area (not a whole state) and a special election as well. I don’t expect much of a delay to bring all of the canvassing to a conclusion.
Add a stay at home order and the count gets lower, way lower than a November election.
However, in November’s general election, this can flip to the Dems. I’d say they have good chance of doing that.
What this special election gives is a PR victory to Trump and an embarrassing butt-hurt to the CA DNC.
In NY Cuomo is going to all mail. His secretary said last week at one of his daily political pressers that no one should expect results to be quick - they need time to fudge the numbers and harvest ballots when necessary.
I guess Cenk Uygur isn’t going to win this seat. That’s a shame. This is an undercard event for November when they will have to do it again. Still, huge win if they can keep the Dems from stuffing the ballot box after the fact.
The polling had this as dead even just 2 weeks ago. The polls are no more trustworthy now than they were in 2016.
There was one other special election in Calif yesterday with similar results as CA 25.
That is STATE Senate District 28 with 55%(R) 44% (D). It is in Riverside a once reliable R county.
So, guess the Dems have 2 elections to IGNORE today.
If the republicans take the House, hold the Senate, and Trump wins re-election, the damned gloves had better come off, and they should do everything they possibly can to thwart/reverse the plans of the democrat/communist bastards. I'm not talking about little nibbles at the prog agenda here and there, I'm talking scorched earth.
Hey, I can dream, can't I?
Sounds interesting for sure.
They always are. Every darn election time. Just ignore them and enjoy the win.
Ugh! Thanks for reminding me about that Eddie Munster-looking creep!
Here in Los Angeles County someone named Barbara Ferrer is in charge of everyday life now for 10 million people. Her title is “Director of Public Health” for the county. As far as I can gather, she is not a medical doctor. Her degrees are in Public Health and Education, and here’s a little background:
...a nationally known public health leader with over 30 years of experience as a philanthropic strategist, public health director, educational leader, researcher, and community advocate. In her current role at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Dr. Ferrer works to protect the health of LA Countys more than 10 million residents. Most recently, Dr. Ferrer served as the Chief Strategy Officer for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, where she was responsible for developing the strategic direction for critical program-related work and providing leadership to the foundations key program areas, including food, health, and well-being.

(This site inaccurately lists her as an M.D. She is not.)
This is the person who stands at the podium every day and tells us that we will remain shut down for the next three months. All by her lonesome, this “community advocate” gives her commands, and everyone obeys.
Well said!
Ping to an excellent post!

Philanthropic strategist, Hmmm?
BTW, if shes officially presented as a doctor and she isnt...I believe there are legal consequences for that.
