British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned that a mass vaccine for the novel coronavirus may be over a year away and, in the worst-case scenario, may in fact never be found.
In his foreword to the government’s new 50-page guidance on a step by step easing of the lockdown measures in place to control the spread of the deadly virus, the UK prime minister lays out plans for businesses to gradually start reopening with “COVID-19 Secure” measures of social distancing and for the public to use “good solid British common sense” as the economy is unlocked.
“A mass vaccine or treatment may be more than a year away,” said Johnson, highlighting the work being done in the UK by scientists at Oxford University and Imperial College London towards this mission.
“Indeed, in a worst-case scenario, we may never find a vaccine. So our plan must countenance a situation where we are in this, together, for the long haul, even while doing all we can to avoid that outcome,” he said.

I always get flu shots (4x strength for moi). Even if it's a near miss, partial immunity can shorten the duration and lower the severity of the icky influenza.
That said, I have no interest in a corona virus immunization. I worry more about delayed "issues" from such an experimental immunization than the consequences of the disease.
BTW, this is not medical advice, however I believe that zinc and vitamin D just might be our best little friends in the china virus battle.

It doesn't matter. It kills a lot of people. This entire issue is political not medical. Politicians don't care if you or I die. It is only important if our death contributes to their power.
Are they really that stupid? Take vitamin D and cut the death rate of Covid-19! Do not wait for the vaccine!
Just a side note, but vitamin D and Zinc is your best friend in any influenza battle. Worked for me for 30 years. Never had a flu since cell I started paying attention to my D levels. When I get outside I stop taking it, and intermittently take it when I dont.
Vitamin D is like a gas tank, takes a while to fill it and longer to empty. Your body can store a huge ammount.
Because it is — meaning, the idea of a worldwide (and mandatory) vaccine. Not really convinced such a vaccine would be the Mark of the Beast, but anything with the word “mandatory” associated with it is, by its very nature, globalist.
