President Trump called on Republicans to head to the polls for Tuesday’s special congressional election in California after the leader of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) told House Republicans in a memo that Democrats were trying to “steal” the race.
The congressional seat was left vacant by Democrat Katie Hill, who resigned in October 2019 amid an ethics scandal involving a relationship with a staffer. The race is being contested between Republican Mike Garcia and Democrat Christy Smith.
“Dems are trying to steal the Mike Garcia Congressional Race in California,” Trump tweeted Monday morning, echoing the NRCC memo. “Republicans, get out and VOTE for your terrific candidate, ASAP!”

It’s probably a long shot, but if the Democrats pull a stunt to replace Biden late in the game, we could end up with 3 candidates splitting the electoral vote and the election going to the House. A candidate needs the votes of 26 state delegations.
Currently, there are 26 delegations with Republican majorities, including Wisconsin. But if the Democrat wins tomorrow, Wisconsin will be an even 4-4. Yes, any Presidential election by the House will occur in January with the newly-elected Congress, but if we can’t hold onto that seat now we’re probably not going to win it back in November.

Exactly the point. The Republican National Committee has to have a battle plan to detect fraud however the scheme is devised, be ready to go to Federal Court immediately and keep appealing up to the Supreme Court when necessary. Ballot harvesting should be the first target and the California laws that are meant to disenfranchise Republican voters.
If the RNC makes only a half hearted effort, especially knowing what happened in 2018, then there very well is some real collusion and overt corruption.
