New video appears to show Ahmaud Arbery calmly wandering around the construction site of a new house in Georgia just moments before he was confronted and shot dead, according to reports.

Surveillance footage seems to show an inquisitive Arbery, 25, looking around the Brunswick property for just under three minutes before leaving, reported News4Jax, which got the video from the homeowner.

I thought the fake news said he had nothing to do with burglaries in the area?

I guess i’m worthy of being run down by gun toting yahoos then. I’ve walked into houses under construction many times just to take a look.

No matter what happened before it,

If some one has a gun on you, trying to take it from them is a good way to get shot.

Being disrespected while being dumb doesn’t make you bullet proof, it makes you dead.

He lived at least 8 miles away. How did he get this very small, isolated neighborhood. Not the kind of neighborhood serious runners (as his family described him) would go to run.

He has a gun conviction, shoplifting conviction in 2018 and yet to be released juvenile record.

And WHERE DID HE WORK?

First off, there was exactly 1 burglary.

Secondly, how does wandering into a house and looking around equate to burglary?

And I'm guessing that when others saw you walking into said houses under construction - you ran like hell to get away. Right?

What does that have to do with anything?

Not all burglaries go reported. Entering someone’s home with an intent to commit a crime is burglary. Unless you think he was just inquisitive.

He may have been casing the place. I have walked through houses under construction also, looking for ideas and methods on wiring and plumbing rough-ins. Whoop de Do.
.............
There is no point muddying this story up. Regardless of his behavior, he was murdered by moron vigilantes that need to go to prison for a very long time.
............
The prosecution should have started months ago, no excuse. Did law enforcement/prosecution think it would stay their liittle secret?
............
They need to lose their jobs also. We just can’t have prosecutors that stupid.

Can not tell you how many homes, builders, Realtor colleagues and I have sold because people happened to be wondering through open homes under construction. I bet some of them were even joggers and decided to take a break. Never heard of any neighbors chasing them with shotguns either.

There is no point going to all ends to defend the guy. He may have been casing the play, whoop de do? That means he was casing it to rob them.

I don't know but I am so sick of this media driven story....and it'll only get worse...

the shooting and death were terrible tragedies but it was misguided decisions and impulsiveness and not deliberate killing...

someone has got to pay, and I hope it won't be too severe....

No, but probably a good lesson learned for many that being on someone else's property, uninvited or unauthorized, not only illegal (probably), poses risks...

Maybe he was looking for a shady spot to run in place like joggers do when they are waiting on traffic signals.
