Gowdy himself peddled this garbage

That was after Gowdy already knew there was nothing to the Mueller witch hunt.
Gowdy did absolutely nothing when he had the chance. Just like Paul Ryan failed to act.
Gowdy killed fisagate in the crib. He helped Ryan spike the scandal. Trey is a fraud. Now he speaks up when he is no position to do anything. When we had the House Ryan and his merry band of traitors including Gowdy did nothing.
Now now, can't criticize Trey the unbeatable. Trey never lost a case or won a hearing or brought a referral. </s>
