I did suffer from sexual harassment from older men and men in power. And they made it very clear some of the exchanges that would have to happen in order for me to be promoted there. And I was so young, so naive. I didn't even really understand what was going on. I knew that I had to leave, Emily Miller told Fox Newss Howard Kurtz on Sunday.
The New York attorney generals office is reportedly investigating how the network handled sexual harassment allegations. The revelation came after NBCUniversal announced that NBC News Chairman Andy Lack was leaving the company in the coming weeks.
Under Lacks leadership, Today show host Matt Lauer was fired after a colleague accused him of raping her in 2014. Lauer denied the rape allegation, claiming their encounter was consensual. Chris Matthews abruptly left MSNBC in March after a female guest said he made sexually inappropriate comments to her.

Have I been sexually harassed?
“One these things is not like the others. One of these things is only kinda the same...”
If an R said it, then yes. If it was a D, then no.
Craig Matthews! GONE and FORGOTTEN!
Matt Lauer! No comeback for you. Die in anonymity. I only hope that this coming report finding NBC culpable opens you up to lawsuits that will bankrupt you.
“Have I been sexually harassed?”
Not unless you are wearing your glasses on your butt or boobs.
Matt Lauer! No comeback for you.
Maybe he can get Ann Curry to interview him?
We'll see, not much confidence in law and order in New York.
It bugs me when shows get self-referential like that.
Wanted explicit details and names when that wasn't the point of the interview.
It goes both ways.
I am a man. Back 35 years ago when I was good looking and fit I was a field rep for a financial company. Older woman company owners I called on would hit on me on occasion. One mid 50’s gal told me to she wanted to hook up with me every month when I was in town calling on her company and if I didn’t she would not use our services. She bluffed. We were the top rated company.
Late 70’s When I was 17 working in a gas station older woman would drive up and after pumping their gas says something like ‘How about a kiss” or even more suggestive lines.
Women do it as much as men.
It was just them.
No one else.
No other news organization.
No other Hollywood entity.
The entire Democrat party is built on a foundation of lies and hate.
See my tag line.
Interesting. I’m a man and was told that I was good-looking and fit in my younger days. But I never had any experiences like that with women being suggestive to me.
Maybe I was just unaware of what was going on.
No, they don't.
“Maybe I was just unaware of what was going on.”
Probably... I thought the same thing and it was confirmed at the 20th HS reunion.
What astounded me was the divorce rate among the class and the volume of phonecalls I received after the reunion from the divorcees whose memory was quite different. It must have been the straight legged tight-ish corduroy pants I favored back-in-the-day.
I was sexually assaulted by some strange nurse at the hospital on the day I was born. She touched my unmentionables and placed clothing on me I did not like. If no means no then crying means dont touch me!!
Kurt Schlichter notes in his latest commentary that the #MeToo movement has become the #SoWhat movement. Brilliant!
