I live about 8 miles south of York County. The county is nothing like the City of York. I used to drive to York to patronize Gander Mountain. Alas, they are gone.

People can wait in lines at grocery stores but OH NO for a month leading up to the election.

I saw Leftists irate that Bernie is still on some primary ballots, saying that it will needlessly bring more people to the polls. WHAT ABOUT THE DOWN BALLOT PRIMARY RACES???

What a crock! For the last seven weeks, I have observed how the neighborhood Wal-Mart shopping center has sucked all the life out of the small businesses (some of them even in the same shopping center) forced to close.

Late on Friday night, our county prosecutor, an old school Democrat, announced that his office would not prosecute any business which chose to open early with proper precautions in place.

When I made my Chick-fil-A drive through run on Saturday, it finally was starting to look normal with cars spread through out the shopping center rather than all clustered at Wal-Mart like it was Black Friday.

Forget economics, reopening actually makes sense from the standpoint of social distancing alone.
