‘There was something new each day. A muggy head; acutely painful calf; upset stomach; tinnitus; pins and needles; aching all over; breathlessness; dizziness; arthritis in my hands.’

Many of us lived with such symptoms long before COVID. It sucks to be stricken with disability at a “relatively” young age, but these are not children. t sucks, but that’s life in the real world. Can you imagine sane adults in the 1950s comparing this to polio?

Every single story like this is nothing but unadulterated anecdote. What are the numbers? How many of these people had an undiscovered autoimmune disorder?

The Secret Service employs approximately 3,200 special agents, 1,300 Uniformed Division officers, and more than 2,000 other specialized administrative, professional and technical support personnel.

So 11/(3200+1300+2000)*329MM=557k cases grossed up to national proportions. The USA has 1.3MM total cases, meaning the Secret Services is way less infected than the nation as a whole.
