I post this article not because it’s anything new, but because the author, A regular CNN analysis has been a huge Comey apologist. Even he has come around. The significance of cause is that he has to post his article in the Washington Examiner because CNN whom he is under contract with of course won’t print it.
Is there not an editor left in the universe. I think the word he meant to use was ominous, but who knows...

I would examine the calls from say, 6:00 pm on election evening to a point, perhaps 48 hour later. You have to know that as the shock of Trump's victory sank in, various folks began to deep six information that wouldn't go down so well in a Trump Administration, but would have been ignored or accepted in a Hillary Clinton Administration. I would think that after a round of frantic calls to “remember to shred X”, a round of calls scheming to frustrate Trump began. Once you know who called whom at what time, with what frequency, you have a road map of the conspiracy. If you look at the highly unusual Susan Rice “note to self” e-mail - written at the White Hose and dispatched at 12:15 pm on January 20th, 2017 you can sense the arrogance of these folks. I have no doubt they left a very clear trail, which just has to be followed.
I suspect you’re right...ominous would have been the word. But it was also kind of onerous, in the sense of burdensome, because they had to work their backsides off coordinating the “insurance.” Probably the most work they’d ever done at their agency in their entire lives.
That said, it’s an excellent article and he sets out everything as it should be. I know there are some good people in the FBI but it looks like that was by accident and by the time they’d been in for a few years, it was all about pleasing the boss. I think J. Edgar Hoover ran it that way, too; he did identify communists, but he was no hero and certainly not very ethical.
I think the whole agency needs to be shut down and something else built. It is helpful for a country this big to have a national police force that can help in the coordination of interstate investigations, etc. although some LEO family members say the FBI actually messes it up, because they come in and take over, even though they don’t know anything about the situation. So a replacement agency and its powers have got to be carefully thought out.
Yes, I wondered at that as well. Ominous fits much better.

I agree. And the folks involved in this need to be prosecuted, as well. ALL of them. I’m thinking James Gagliano would be a good person to be involved in setting up the successor organization. He knows what it’s supposed to do, and what it MUST NOT DO!
I happened to see the Peter Strzok testimony again yesterday by Gowdy. Just that clip of the “texts” is all one needs to know what this was all about. Gowdy was the best (even though his words never materialized into anything against the Swamp). How can the AG not have a full blown investigation as we speak especially with the Flynn injustice? Why hasn’t POTUS thrown these scum out? There is NOTHING to lose. At one time I thought it was because of the threat of impeachment and the coup had some “smoking gun” but they have NOTHING but trash talk,threats and recycling committees.

The author admits he was wrong. However, he never mentions that the Brady material was withheld for 3+ years, and that the threatened Flynn’s kid and family.

He was wrong before, The author still doesn’t get it. His precious FBI was a tool for Obama and the DNC, INCLUDING hiding major crimes.
Tell the author, it actually that all other possibilities have been excluded, so what remains is a POTUS who ordered multiple agencies to subvert the Constitution. Grasp the now obvious, Obama and the Democrats turned an agency to protect the people, into an agency that protected government employees and a nefariousness and onerous POTUS and his minions.
The author should also start to wonder if Mueller just became a crook after he became special prosecutor, or he was always a dirtball.
Time to go to a mirror and ask yourself if you were a tool of evil for 25 years.......
