Riverside County, Calif. Sheriff Chad Bianco said Friday that he refuses to make criminals out of law-abiding business owners exercising their constitutional rights and providing for their families.
A video of Bianco pleading his case before his county's Board of Supervisors, stating he would not enforce local coronavirus lockdown protocol, went viral on Tuesday.
Appearing on "Fox & Friends" with host Steve Doocy, Bianco explained that the "situation" in Riverside County under state orders is "nothing like they told us it was going to be in the beginning."

Surprised they haven’t made an example of this sheriff.
Since Sheriff’s are elected, they may be afraid to show so much of their hand...it could blow up in their faces.
Sheriff, it makes sense when you consider the intent and understand this is designed to destroy the country.
Time to muster the militias.
yup
God bless Sheriff Bianco. That means we can at least leave city limits and get a frigging sit-down dinner. Rusty Baily, the feckless and gutless Demonscat mayor of Riverside, is still not allowing restaurants to open.
The other sheriffs in CA were “only following orders”.
I approve of your description of Rusty Bailey.
I don’t know what his oath was... But shouldn’t he start locking up little Polpot dictator wanna bes?
Sheriff’s have more authority in their counties than Gov Nuisance dos.
The other sheriffs in CA were only following orders.
That is not a true statement. I live in Riverside County and appreciate Sheriff Bianco speaking out again as he originally did when “stay at home” orders were first issued, and he advised that he would not be enforcing them. Also, there are other county sheriffs in CA who have made it policy not to enforce these orders.
Sheriff Chad Bianco is hereby awarded the additional title of Riverside County’s Defender of the Constitution.
Rustbucket is as bad as another schmuck we had as mayor here, the dimwit Loveless-eridge.
Yep - would be interesting to see if a Governor would actually go after Sheriffs who refused to enforce illegal/unconstitutional orders....I’d wager the Sheriffs could muster some effective “militias” to defend their ‘turf’...
