New Red Flags Emerging From FBI's Handling of Michael Flynn's Case
Real Clear Investigations ^ | 5/8/2020 | Mark Hemingway

The Justice Department’s closing of its criminal case against President Trump's former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn on Thursday came as new red flags emerged from recently released documents revealing the FBI’s handling of the matter.

Former FBI agents and federal prosecutors tell RealClearInvestigations that the documents show suspiciously irregular handling and editing of Flynn’s FD-302 form, the official document used to record what happens in FBI interviews. That form served as a key record used to charge Flynn with lying to federal agents. He pleaded guilty to that charge in December 2017 but had been trying to withdraw the plea, arguing, as his lawyer put it, that he was “deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI.”

Since the documents were released last week, much attention has focused on a handwritten note by FBI counterintelligence head Bill Priestap in advance of the January 2017 interview with Flynn that would result in the retired lieutenant general being charged with lying to federal agents: “What is our goal?” Priestap asked, “Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?

Thanks. I think I’ll pass on that one. Sounds perfectly repulsive.

The door is always open to abuse. When I see a person blame “the system,” chances are the system is fine.

That’s why police departments are not buying body cameras for their cops. Oh, wait...

We must make this the primary campaign issue.

Why in 2017 is the evidence in the form of handwritten notes taken by an agent, rather than a recording? The person being interviewed has no chance if the FBI is out to get him or her.

I would like Trump to change the rules, such that the FBI MUST record all interviews, MUST retain all such interviews forever, and MUST immediately after the interview furnish the interviewee's attorney with a digitally signed, certified copy.

And that without video footage, that all 302 reports are inadmissible hearsay.

♦ Q: What are the consequences for these individuals? BARR: Well, you know, I don’t wanna, you know, we’re in the middle of looking at all of this. John Durham’s investigation, and U.S. Attorney Jensen, I’m gonna ask him to do some more work on different items as well. And I’m gonna wait till all the evidence is, and I get their recommendations as to what they found and how serious it is. It's not over 'til it's over.

“WHY is judge Sullivan taking his sweet time in throwing out the Flynn case?”

Because the proceedings against Flynn in his courtroom, have made the DOJ, the FBI and this JUDGE a national JOKE.

Judge Sullivan must now try to figure out how to delicately remove his pecker from the pencil sharpener, because he was complicit in the ill-treatment of General Flynn, given the many vile and repugnant tongue-lashings Flynn was made to endure from this judge’s fork-tongued mouth. This General, sitting there silenced and gagged by this outrageous process they call JUSTICE.

Judge Sullivan and the political hacks in the DOJ and FBI aren’t worthy to polish Flynn’s combat boots. DISGUSTING!

Yes judge, you got some on you. Fraud was perpetrated upon you, the court where you are a practicing clown-master, and on the American public by those in the DOJ and FBI.

What are you going to do about it? Are you a man of principle or are you a punk?

I’m betting Sullivan is a punk.

The next problem is Judge Sullivan. This judge is not to be trusted. If he does not drop the case Trump should attack him hard.

RIGHT ON. This judge allowed his courtroom to become a den of lies. He even made outrageous statements to Flynn, calling him a traitor. Shame on Sullivan, his courtroom is a joke.

FBI rules prevent any recording of FBI interviews. The FBI needs to permanently disbanded.

He can only redeem himself by issuing contempt charges. The best part of dropping this matter is the with prejudice cite. Next up trump should invite Flynn to a conference at the whitehouse and have comey there shackled to a chair with a blow torch nearby. Have it in the situation room so the yelling cannot be heard.

The perpetrators now find themselves in extreme jeopardy:

1) A crime with no predicate.
2) falsification of FBI forms 302
3) FBI investigator notes which indicate political motivation
4) Meetings at the highest level in which Rice revealed in her memo what strategy was to be followed, Obama, Comey, Rice, Clapper and Brennan were present at a series of such meetings.

Add this up and it is but one result: Malicious Prosecution

Because it involved organizational crime and racketeering, the extraordinary remedies available from a RICO offense are obvious.

And the various perpetrators of this crime , include a law firm which acted in conflict of interest ( Flynn’s original legal team that advised him to plead guilty), FBI Agent Strzok, Comey, McCabe, Rice, Brennan, Clapper and Obama himself. All of the perpetrators exceeded their governmental authorities of office so that the legal jeopardy is personal, the government nor the taxpayers are liable for these millions of dollars in damages. All of the perpetrators are personally liable in the millions of dollars. (Not to mention the federal crimes of sedition, treason and espionage, and the likely disbarment of several attorneys involved in Flynn’s original defense team.)

I expect that letters pleading settlement have already been received by Flynn’s legal counsel. For the benefit of America, I hope General Flynn proceeds to a public civil trial in his suit for damages.Let them all lose their homes and livelihoods in return, for that is indeed what justice demands.

May General Flynn act to compensate himself and his family, and in the process keep any lefty , Alinsky bound, tin pot dictator like Obama from ever attempting the same crimes against our nation again in the future.

Flynn is a patriot; sitting with the outsider, POTUS Trump could not be allowed to happen....the Obama rogue goons and the Fake News had to stop him before he could expose those dirty cops and ex-president.....they threatened Gen. Flynn by using his son in a lie. The good General chose his family over country the rest is history.

Our prayers were answered when General Flynn found a real lawyer, Sidney Powell. That too is history. A great wrong has been righted...the Obama Administration is more than dirty, they are treasonous. That wrong shall also be righted. (vindication of Flynn)

suspiciously irregular handling and editing of Flynn’s FD-302 form

That would be Lisa Page, an attorney for the FBI, worked for James Baker.

Nobody will be held accountable. The media will not allow it. So the FBI knows they can do whatever they want without any consequences.

If you are expecting executions you are going to be sorely disappointed. That’s complete nonsense even if they caught Comey spying for the Chinese.

Those two things could point to tampering with evidence that might get Lisa Page’s boyfriend thrown in jail.

Page altered the 302 to its present, incriminating form.

She’s headed to the graybar hotel as well.
