The collusion house of cards has finally and fully collapsed.
In a stunning turn of events Thursday, the Justice Department dropped its case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. Exculpatory documents concealed by the FBI and federal prosecutors for more than three years showed that the retired Army lieutenant general never lied or committed a crime.
The FBI knew Flynn did not collude with Russians. He is a patriot, not a traitor.
The notion that candidate Donald Trump conspired with Moscow to steal the 2016 presidential election was always an implausible phantasm built on a foundation of Russian disinformation commissioned by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democrats.
The malevolent James Comey, fired director of the FBI, knew this but it didn’t deter him. He and his lieutenants sedulously stacked the cards, one by one, against Trump by exploiting the bogus allegations and pursuing an illicit investigation designed to drive him from office.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and his sycophants in the media propagated the Russia hoax by insisting there was “solid evidence” that Trump was a secret Kremlin asset and predicting the imminent demise of his presidency. Except no such evidence ever existed. Collusion was nothing more than an illusion and a delusion.
Tragically, people like Flynn became collateral damage amid the carnage of corruption, dishonesty, abuse and injustice.
But the weight of all the lies and propaganda has inexorably toppled the house of cards in a slow-motion crash.
I have long argued in numerous columns and two books that the retired Army lieutenant general was set up and framed by Comey, FBI Assistant Director Andrew McCabe and disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok. They invented a perjury trap under false pretenses and deceived Flynn.

APPARENTLY THERE WAS COLLUSION IN THE RUSSIA SITUATION. THE COLLUSION WAS BETWEEN THE FBI AND THE DEMOCRATS TO OVERTURN THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. THAT IS CALLED A COUP ATTEMPT AND COUP ATTEMPTS ARE SEDITION. SEDITIONISTS BELONG IN PRISON.

Schiff is desperately trying to salvage what little integrity he imagines he retains.
AND THIS___realpolitics.com reprorted that on Meet The Press, Schiff, the head of the Congressional Intel Committe actually said
“he had evidence” of Trump-Russia collusion. But he couldnt show it, suggesting to a national audience
that he alone had privileged information nobody else had.
Why is Schiff’s statement so shocking?
B/c its true. Schiff undermined US Ntl security and imperiled Americans to keep th TV cameras rolling.

This was a good synopsis of multiple things to do with Russia.
I read the footnotes, exhibits, and motion to dismiss and came away disgusted and also surprised about some things. I also have a suspicion that begs a question.
This document is very bad for the former 7th floor of the FBI. Very bad. No way to sugarcoat it and it is pretty clear they played a dirty game and it made them look like a rogue agency even from the DOJ.
The one question I now have is did “they” set up Flynn to be fired by Trump? I am not clear now on what the lie was that Flynn told Pence. I am also uncertain why the DOJ and FBI felt the need to run to the White House about the comments by Pence to make it look like Flynn lied? Did anyone else find this odd in the Yates transcript and the footnotes? It sounds like an episode of “mean girls” to me.
Was Trump and the White House played by this group to fire Flynn? I would like for Pence to make a statement to clarify because I came away from reading all of this thinking to myself that it was the FBI/DOJ that went to the White House and told them that Flynn lied.
I was also surprised a bit by Yates. I know she was no fan of the President, but you are the acting head of DOJ. She makes it sound like Brennan, Clapper, and her were all advising the FBI to NOT do this and to give a defensive briefing and Comey refused. She was Comey’s boss!
Seriously? It is pretty obvious that Comey/McCabe/Strozk/Page are going to be hung out like dirty laundry, but I still think there is far more behind the scenes that we do not yet know.
If Yates was so concerned WHY did she sign the FISA warrant? Any of them could have blown the whistle. My God. These transcripts are CYA Central..... Brennan/Clapper/Yates/Rosenstein could have all stopped this, but they did not.
Pretty obvious they are going to get a pass. A few prosecutors might be hung out to dry along with the FBI 7th Floor Supercop Brigade. It appears the rest will walk.
