A coalition of Republican senators and congressmen are asking President Trump to expand his recent executive order to suspend visas for foreign workers seeking employment in the United States while more than 33 million Americans are unemployed.
In letters to Trump, Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Josh Hawley (R-MO), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), and Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Reps. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Lance Gooden (R-TX), Mo Brooks (R-AL), and Matt Gaetz (R-FL) request that Trump prevent unemployed Americans from being forced to compete against foreign workers at a time of record joblessness spurred by the Chinese coronavirus crisis.

GOP-E response: But how do we find anyone available to do these jobs?
Picture me doing a victory dance around a fairly large bonfire.
Oh noes! Common sense!
“Republicans are RACISTS!” - Said every mouth-breathing, idiot LibTard everywhere, every day
Good! If you LOVE America, this would be a common sense move. The Quislings will probably cave, though. :(

Hire Americans at American wages: many of these companies are not losing money, they’re gutting their own IT services for a short term boost in profits to goose the compensation of the executives who will move on to infest another host leaving a dying husk of a company behind. Look at GE & Boeing. It’s just a sophisticated form of fraud.
DUH
H1-B and OPT need to be SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY until at least 2021.
Halt them forever you traitorous bastards
Will never happen. everybody including trump family is paid off. Otherwise there was no need to continue h1-b visas even before this fake pandemic. Only reason is cheap bonded labor.
Absolutely! I was absolutely livid when I saw the bank buildings where I did projects stuffed full of H1b Indians even during the Great Recession when millions upon millions of Americans were out of work.
Sad that the citizens can only muster 4 Senators to side with them.
IT, and engineering, and billing, and call centers, and manufacturing, and data analysis, and...
How about we just stop issuing guest worker visas, period?
When setting up USA operations, a foreign company typically wants some of its executives from the head office to relocate to the USA. You dont know the unintended consequences of shutting out foreign ViSAs. You have more of a case if you are talking about H1B visas but if you want to cut out L visas you are dead wrong. For those who dont know, an L visa is what the foreign executive would use to come into the USA.
Good.
America needs to have an Americans First employment policy.
The Free Traitors and the anti-American worker people on this forum are thehardest hit.
[Hire Americans at American wages:]
Now you’re talking crazy.
The Boosh brothers will hate that idea.
[How about we just stop issuing guest worker visas, period?]
More crazy talk.
I mean “sane” talk.
Imagine hiring Americans.
That’s not very New World Order of you.
“everybody including trump family is paid off”
Prove it, or STFU.
