The AP can spin this all they want. It was the right decision and it proves why the Special Counsel’s Office was a travesty in that they conducted a partisan and flawed investigation and the same “investigators” prosecuted the case.
There needs to be a full accounting for those responsible for this on behalf of Flynn and other victims, the nation that had to endure this ridiculous story for years, the media that promoted this crap, and those within the FBI that deprived citizens of their civil rights under the color of the law.
The case against George P should be vacated also. They played the same dirty games with the FISA court and upon the nation.

This is why I am glad the president waited on issuing any pardon for him. A pardon infers that Flynn did something wrong. This way his record is pure.
Now appoint him head of the FBI! I imagine he might have a score to settle.
Let him have his pound (or more) of flesh.

I though Flynn plead guilty, and was trying to vacate the plea. Not sure how the feds can simply drop the case once the plea is entered.
They did this in the Black Panther polling site intimidation case at the beginning of the Obama administration.
Dropped the case after they had pled guilty.
Now the General can sue the living bejeebers out of them.

Flynn might have been better equipped to pursue a civil lawsuit if the judge had ruled in his favor on the matter.

I am no legal expert but that sounds like the DOJ is leaving the Comey team exposed if Flynn wants to come after them.

From its inception, the case against Gen. Flynn was a criminal conspiracy and, as it was not unique and is part of a pattern of DOJ and Intel violation of civil rights, I’d guess we might even have a RIOO on our hands. I hope the good General and family can take a week’s vacation and then return to the field armored up and ready for Justice be be done.
And it’s not a Friday at 5PM document drop before the weekend boomlet.
