a lot of “furloughs” have become “layoffs” ... and a lot of companies that were “temporarily closed” are now OUT OF BUSINESS.

Except Government workers.

In some places they're at risk, too.

Ohio's governor just slashed $700M+ from the budget for the current fiscal year. In Pennsylvania, thousands of state employees who had been on "paid furlough" at the start of this fiasco were moved to "UNPAID furlough" in mid-April.

These governments can't operate without tax revenue, and that's starting to become obvious now.
