We are helping an elderly neighbor couple. Nothing goes into their house without me decontaminating it. (We do the shopping for them, route Amazon packages to our house, etc.)
Although the husband has started going out more, and I’m not sure how careful he is. I still decon whatever he buys, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he is having snacks and licking his fingers after he is at the store.

I agree Danny. It could be both vectors at work.
Air circulators in Apartment buildings could be spreading the virus , and just a few infected clerks handling food packaging could infect hundreds and so on.
Living in dense population centers obviosly is not conducive to good health.
Until the left starts getting real about using HCQ and Zinc as a preventative, as proven by the non infection of both Lupus patients and Arthritis patients who are on the drug for therapy, this epidemic will keep on trucking.
I suspect the obvious. That people are losing their ability to build immunity due to panicked sequestration. Humans need proximity to one another in order to build herd immunity, and personal immunity. Sadly, with this engineered virus (insert of PRRA sequence) , it is much more infections and the old and weak are going to die. Very sad, but all we are doing is delaying the inevitable until autumn, destroying the world economy, guaranteeing that MILLIONS more die of starvation this year than would ever die from this virus, and condemn those that would be perfectly fit to build immunity to weaken immune systems.
The time to open is now. Not next week, not phased until July. Now. The time to build herd immunity is Now, while the weather is warm and our bodies are less stressed and people can congregate and spend more time outside.
Don't wait until it's too late.
And if you're more likely to die from this because you're generally old and fat and diabetic and sickly already, well....life isn't always fair is it? Life needs to go on for the other 95% of humanity.
I picked up a side job at the local supermarket back when this started. Haven't gotten sick once since then.
