“He knows he can’t take her place. This just a cheap political stunt.”

Yep. Talk is cheap.

I would like to see him take her place in jail. We could make that daily update on Fox...

Good Campaign move

Hannity just said Gov. Abbott will be on during his show.

It’s not assured that he would be allowed to do this, is it?

We need to create a list of judges, mayors, governors, heads of police, and other officials that took it upon themselves to issue “stay at home” orders, “close all businesses,” issue fines, conducted under cover raids, mandated use of facial masks or be fined $1,000...

They should be listed and what they did should be considered by those that vote.

Don’t say the truth.

People are drooling and falling in love with him here and spouting stuff about Texas Men etc :)

Let them enjoy it and forget about the many incredibly liberal cities there :)

No, it shouldn’t. Can’t the governor just pardon her? And when can the voters kick that judge out? It won’t be soon enough.

One might put this in the ‘genius marketing’ column. It’s a win-win for both the business and the Lt. Gov.

“Hannity just said Gov. Abbott will be on during his show.”

He could just issue a pardon during the show, I believe he has that right/power.

This judge and his family need to be scared from ever showing their faces in public ever again. Yes, it has come to this.

When ‘the law’ punishes the innocent and protects the guilty - as it does now in too many places - I will be the sole arbiter of what I will or will not do. Not some half wit, SJW tyrant in black robes.

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is an interesting and successful man.

He was a sports reporter on a local tv station. Started a couple of restaurants and failed. Bought a cheap low power radio station and brought Rush Limbaugh to Houston. Ran for the Texas House and won his district by about 70%. Now he is the Lt. Governor which actually has more power than the Governor. He is a hard core Baptist and a good American.

Texas has a bright future with this man in the state house.

Agree 100%. This is the kind of thing that’s going to have to happen on a massive scale in this country. The woman has more cajones than most men. They are already ramping up the narrative about the “mutated” virus in the next few months. Where does it end? It ends with a lot of states going to mail in ballots....that’s where it will ultimately end.

Wow, that is putting your money where your mouth is, and unlikely that the court would take him up on the substitution offer, still, sort of putting your @$$ on the line too. Good for Lt. Gov Patrick

He knows he can’t take her place. This just a cheap political stunt.

He also offered to pay her $7,000 fine. How much have you offered?

He’s paying the fine, which he can do. The house arrest thing is just sentiment, but it’s a real one.
