It is with a very heavy heart that I am announcing that the TCMS will be no more. humblegunner & I had a serious discussion about this several months ago and we both agreed it was time for it to end.
The past several years I have dreaded planning this event, even though there isn't a lot to the planning as it has become a well oiled machine. It just doesn't seem the same anymore.
We have a great 14 year run! I will definitely miss seeing all of you at this event. Know that I adore all of you. Much love to everyone.
If you have a problem with humblegunner, take it to a different thread. Nobody here gives a flip about who you like or dislike. Matter of fact 99.5% of those pinged actually dig the heck out of gunner.
I learned to avoid Cooties in Elementary school.

Offering services if there's enough interest in continuing in some manner close to home. I'm not able to get out and travel the state much but Charlie, you are also nearby. I might need some "The Mom" and humblegunner advice and guidance to get going.

Humblegunner is integral to the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot. There is no one in our group who doesn’t love the adorable goof. He is one of the most respectful, respectable men I know. I would trust him with my grandkids even tho we’d have to discuss whether Q’s DS would want to steal them and eat them. We know Gunner. No veni no vidi and danged certain no vici fits in this group with that attitude.

I’m an old lady in MA who never hunted but always looked forward to your news and pictures. I remember TC from way back on some smoking threads. Sad to see it end.
P.S. we all like the range in Gatesville. No reason if a group wants to have a less “formally organized” gathering that phone calls can’t be made for meeting up either. Even if its just a day at the range, BBQ afternoon visiting and a one night stay.
