OH BS. The constitutionalists here have to make a clear distinction between reasonable public health measures and totalitarian lockdown of the economy and society.

There is nothing moral or constitutional or conservative about spreading contagion. Not a goddamned thing and this preaching of suicide from the right has to come to an utter halt right now or the lockdown totalitarian running dogs of the CHICOMS will win.

There is a reasonable middle. Social distancing isn't lockdown. It's just appropriate measures to reduce the rate of spread of contagion. There is a simple measure. Is Rt less than one, the criteria for whether the disease will die out or whether it will spread through the rest of the US like it did in Wuhan and NYC.

It is what it is. If it saved millions of lives, and I think it did, then it is definitely a blessing regardless of what material possessions may have been lost. Trump thinks it saved millions of lives too. And even if it only temporarily delayed people catching it,

• it gave us time to learn about HCQ+zinc.
• It gave us time to learn about the virus itself and how it works.
• It gave us time to improve oxygen and ventilation techniques.
• It gave us time to learn about how it causes blood clotting, allowing us to counter that.
• It gave us time to get clinical trials underway.
• It gave us time to develop some vaccine candidates.
• We have the cleanest air in decades.

The lock downs might be a mixed bag, but there have clearly been some benefits.

Worst of all, I haven’t been to church, the way church is supposed to be, in two months. As much as I’d like to believe otherwise, I’m not becoming a better person. I’m struggling, desperately, to hold it all together.

My daughter did not loose her high paying job, she was asked to work from home, in early March. She was living with her boyfriend/fiance for the last two years. He too did not loose his job and also worked from home. Asa her 14 year old lab was ecstatic to have her there all day.

It began with Drew not being able to sleep, then he began buying all kinds of weird stuff, a DJ system? Then he started treating her with alot of disrepect, not usual at all. Then he quit his job and found another. After a month she called his family to ask what is happening to Drew?

They broke the news to her, Drew never did, and told her he is Bi-polar and is manic right now and do not know how long it will take for him to come down from his manic state. with Lithium he could, but he is feeling at the top of his world right now and won't listen to anyone, let alone take a drug to bring him down from his manic state.

It is so serious, she kicked him out and the relationship is over, all caused by the lock down, due to his routine being upended. it could end in suicide, he has tried it before.
