As President Trump toured an N95 mask manufacturing plant in Phoenix on Tuesday, his visit through the facility was accompanied by a head-scratching musical soundtrack: the Paul McCartney-penned “Live and Let Die,” as performed by Guns 'N Roses.
The president and his entourage were touring a Honeywell factory that produces the masks, worn by medical workers to protect them from breathing in the deadly COVID-19 virus. Standing next to a green bin filled with hundreds of masks, a notably un-face-masked Trump watched an employee work as the music segued from the Animals' "House of the Rising Sun" into the song McCartney wrote and recorded for the James Bond film of the same name.
The background music for the tour also included Trump rally stalwarts such as Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A." and Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger."
In a tweet, Jimmy Kimmel noted: "I can think of no better metaphor for this presidency than Donald Trump not wearing a face mask to a face mask factory while the song 'Live and Let Die' blares in the background."

Having been in manufacturing facilities for 30 years I can attest to the fact that workers enjoy having 80’s rock playing while they work. I’m betting that the management was hush hush about Trumps visit and left everything business as usual and 99% of the employees had no clue what was really going on. It was just another factory tour.

So, is your facepalm for “OMG, Trump did something stupid again” or “OMG, the media went after Trump for something trivial again”?
Yes you did. So it's another self-inflicted error on the part of whoever is in charge of planning this for Trump. Does anyone know what the purpose of the visit was? No, because all the media is talking about is the fact that Trump didn't wear a mask and "Live and Let Die" was blaring in the background.

I hope everyone pauses to consider what kind of unimaginably horrible shape this country and even large parts of the World would likely be had Hillary won and libs were controlling. Probably be martial law right now....
While it is trivial it’s also stupid. But Trump is not alone in this. So many politicians seems to have staffs that do not always think things through well. Not sure if it’s the insulation factor or what.

If Hillary had won, the borders would have been wide open all these years and there would be millions automatically granted citizenship and 99% would vote Democrat. The packed Supreme Court would have negated the Second Amendment, churches that don’t support abortion and gay “marriage” would have been shut down. We would have had martial law within the first month of her presidency, long before the Coronavirus.
I don’t even understand the context. Maybe you can explain what the deal is with this particular song.
