We need to save Obamacare because the pandemic or something and because itll make the GOP look bad!
Rather than come up with better healthcare solutions (including deregulating and getting the government out of the healthcare biz) The GOPe continue to be worthless milquetoast sops.

Barr should just recuse himself and be done with it.

arguing that the administration should pull back from its insistence that the entire law be struck down. The entire law is illegal, so strike it down?

Barr is Sessions with better PR. Still waiting for investigations to conclude and indictments of high level coup plotters. I suspect I will be waiting until after the Trump Administration and then, mysteriously all of this will vanish down the memory hole.

Attorney General William Barr made a last-minute push Monday to persuade the administration to modify its position in the Obamacare dispute that will be heard at the Supreme Court this fall
President response:
Agreed, now draft Legislation to be submitted to Congress mandating all Non Military Federal Employee's enroll in Obamacare and use the savings being wasted on inferior Health Insurance Plans for Federal Employee's, for the Wall.

According to four sources familiar with the meeting, Barr argued for modifying the administrations current stance to preserve parts of the law, rather than fully back the lawsuit filed by a group of Republican states. More fake news?

Just where is health policy part of Barrs job description?
To: All
(U)ltimately, I agreed to serve because I believe strongly in public service, I revere the law, and I love the Department of Justice and the dedicated professionals who serve there.
So he reveres the lawbut apparently he does not revere the Constitution, since he shows reverence for an unconstitutional law in this instance.

we need to get RID of Zero-Care....and make sure the federal government never gets involved in “providing” (taking over) our health care again.
IF any government health care scheme is to be started or expanded it is up to the individual states to try it, NOT the feds!

... Barr and other top advisers have argued against the hard-line position for some time, warning it could have major political implications if the comprehensive health care law appears in jeopardy as voters head to the polls in November. The administration either agrees with the position that it's unconstitutional or else they don't. Nothing else should be playing into the decision, certainly not politics.
