28 Million Reasons Not to Trust a Mail-in Election
AMAC - Association of Mature American Citizens ^ | May 1, 2020 | AMAC (Outside Contributor)

“No idea.” That was the only answer state and local officials had. When a federal elections commission started asking questions, not one person had any explanation for the 28.3 million mail-in ballots that have gone missing since 2012. As far as they’re concerned, one in five absentee votes just vanished. No one knows if it’s fraud, system failure, general ineptitude, or a combination of all three. What we do know is that Democrats want us to trust this same process — on a national scale — this November. Thank you, but no thank you.

Trump may win by a landslide by the true vote, but barely squeak by on the margin of fraud perpetrated by Demonicrats.

Conservatives need to go on the offensive. Instead of being cowed by overused charges of “racism” they need to speak the truth. Voting is a right, but its also a responsibility.

No ID voting
Same-Day registration
Early voting
e-voting
mail-in voting

ALL are designed for fraud. Its that simple.

Sensationalist articles about “missing” mail-in ballots don’t help at all. A ballot that was mailed to a voter and wasn’t returned isn’t necessarily “missing.” Maybe the voter just didn’t fill it out, or maybe they were sent to people who ended up voting in person. In some states — like mine — the election board is required to send mail-in ballots to everyone who voted by mail in the previous election even if they didn’t request one now.

That so-called Republican group is part of an organization headed by never-Trumper Bill Kristol:

What are you talking about? Every ballot that’s mailed out and isn’t accounted for is an instance of exposure to fraud. How does anyone know why a ballot was not returned? Conveniently “lost” by a political operative?

Does someone who votes by mail because of infirmity or absence even get confirmation that their ballot was recorded?

What is the best response to normies who see mail-in voting as a necessity in the age of covid-19?

My Dem Rep. is pushing it as the most natural thing in the world, since the last thing we want to do is deny people the right to vote, and in the present time mail-ing ballots are the logical alternative.

I’m not sayin I need to be convinced, but this is a compelling argument to many. What is the counter-argument?

It can’t be just “because democrats will cheat” or we will lose.

All the republican house victories in Calif that were flipped after the last election thanks to ‘ballot harvesting’ is plenty of proof on its own.

A national mail-in vote scheme is tantamount to our govt disenfranchising all of us. We should fight this like our lives depend on it, because it does.

Yep. Ballot harvesting, and AFTER the fact. They know just how many votes were needed to defeat the Republican winner. And, what do you know? They JUST crossed that finish line by a nose.

“Exposure to fraud” is not the same as fraud.

The author of an article like this should focus on REAL cases of MISSING ballots ... like those recent ones in Wisconsin that were never delivered to the recipients. Otherwise, the author’s credibility is undermined because he’s making an assumption about these ballots that doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.

Calling the ballots “missing” is like a professional football team selling out an 80,000-seat stadium and having only 78,000 people show up. Those other 2,000 aren’t “missing,” and nobody in the team’s office is calling the police to find out what happened to them.

“Because Republicans will cheat” should be the only argument you need. Get enough people to believe that, and the whole push for mail-in voting will come to an end.

That’s good. And leads to the question “If we did that, how do we verify that each persons vote is counted?” (because they’re big on that). And “How can we be sure each person only votes once, and that they are entitled to vote?

Truth is, a properly designed vote-by-mail system could be created with sufficient safeguards IF it was done by a private entity with lots of oversight. No one tries to pay taxes twice or is able to get private info like SSN easily. Similar authentication could be done for mail-in voting so the voter receives a hardcopy confirmation of his vote.

No online nothing. It’s too easy for “things” to happen.

3 million an election go ‘missing’ in Los Angeles county alone each election; the county recorder there says ANY ballot which is not returned by election day VIA mail is considered lost. Their count is how many are mailed out, vs how many are received and verified VIA MAIL.

Drop offs at polling places are NOT counted as received for the purposes of ‘missing’ ballots, nor are any ballots counted as ‘received’ if there is something that ‘spoils’ that ballot - such as failure to vote on every race, bond measure, and voter initiative.

Actual number of ‘undeliverable’ ballots is roughly 11,000 an election cycle (not unusual for a major urban area with lots of people moving all the time.)

So 15,000,000 of that 28 million is from one county alone, the majority of the rest are also within California, and honestly, really is a pretty useless number. Most of the ‘spoiled’ ballots are from people failing to vote in judicial races (or not picking enough candidates in races like judicial or state franchise tax board.)

I’ll see your 28-million (disappeared ballots) and raise it 45-million (probable 2020 migrant-invader ballots)...
