Appearing on Justice with Judge Jeanine on Saturday night, Dr. Debora Birx admitted something that anyone paying attention to the coronavirus pandemic has known for some time now. “I think we underestimated very early on the number of asymptomatic cases,” Dr. Birx said. “And I think we’re really beginning to understand there are people that get infected that those symptoms are so low-grade that they don’t even know that they’re infected.”
The question, of course, is how much? Well, we have a rough idea already.
But, first, let’s go back to what experts said originally. Back in March, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated a 3.4 percent fatality rate and Dr. Anthony Fauci estimated that the fatality rate of the coronavirus was about 2 percent. “If you look at the cases that have come to the attention of the medical authorities in China, and you just do the math, the math is about 2%.”
Some of us will remember how President Trump endured a lot of criticism for saying that he had a “hunch” that the WHO’s estimate was too high and that the fatality rate of the coronavirus might actually be below 1 percent. “Well, I think the 3.4 percent is really a false number. Now, and this is just my hunch, and — but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this. Because a lot of people will have this and it’s very mild. They’ll get better very rapidly. They don’t even see a doctor. They don’t even call a doctor,” Trump said. “I think that that number is very high. I think the number, personally, I would say the number is way under 1 percent.”

None of these studies were perfect. Some are large, some are small. As you’ll see, they came up with a range of fatality rates, but considering our country was shut down over the belief that the coronavirus had a CFR of 2% to 3.4% and all of these studies suggest the actual CFR is under 1 percent, it makes you wonder why the country was shut down.

Which I guess is why the MSM is overflowing with stories today claiming that “secret internal documents” say it’s going to be MUCH MUCH WORSE.
Would not be surprised to see NY and Tuna Nan’s House try to pass a law absolving governors from blame for however they handled this.
And the whole idea of “test test test” is bogus too. Testing for the active virus is relatively meaningless unless diagnostic because you are symptomatic. You test yesterday, contract it today, and get a negative result tomorrow, what good does it do?
Given how many asymptomatic cases we are seeing in the sample tests done so far, the focus needs to be on massive antibody testing.

We’ll see when it’s over. The 1968-70 Hong King Flu is estimated to have killed 100,000 in the US. Population in the middle of 1968 is reported to be right at 200 million, and current number being used is 330 million (with the illegals, it’s more). So, to compare to the HKF, we would need roughly 165,000 deaths. We will never know if we would have reached that level had we not locked down the country.
Like I’ve said for weeks - we’ve been had. This was intentionally over-hyped and we bought into it. A few States and municipalities kept their wits about them but... Aside from the 8 years of bammy this is probably the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the US.
Well, it got Trump’s rallies to stop and trashed the economy. Seems like it worked perfectly.
That would not surprise me at all they actually hate Donald Trump and do not want him to succeed. In fact the left will bend over backwards to make sure that Trump’s presidency fails.
I don’t care about your link to studies. You don’t need studies to see that there aren’t dead bodies lying around. Given the thousands of homeless people you should actually see bodies lying around. You also don’t need studies to see that there haven’t been a lot of ambulances racing up and down residential streets. Given the number of people stuck at home you should see a lot more ambulances. You also aren’t seeing more hearses. Why do we need scientists to tell us what we do and don’t see? God gave us reason and senses and we get knowledge through reason and observation.
That was with no lockdown. With the lockdown and *strict* social distancing, it was supposed to be 1.2-1.4 million. At least that was the initial estimates which, with the "do nothing" estimate, drove the lockdowns. We won't get close to 1.2 million, and that was with some pretty lax social distancing in much of the country.

Trump does need to call them out on monkey business going on in the counts though.

It is probably easier to win the California Lottery these days:
Versus getting a no charge, fast and reliable/good test to see if you have antibodies from a Corona Virus infection late last year, early this year or whenever.
If you are over age 60 and healthy.
Last but not least, after you are tested, you get a printout showing that you have CV antibodies or not.
Does anyone have any thoughts to why this is happening?
Is it happening in the rest of our 57 states?
