If youve ventured outside lately, say, to run to the store for groceries, youve likely encountered a familiar scene: Masks dangling from faces.
Safe distances of 6 feet reduced to mere inches. Some not wearing masks at all.Thats what makes Gov. Brian Kemps decision to lift the shelter-at-home mandate so dangerous.
As you might expect, the decision to end the states most ambitious attempt to slow the spread of the virus drew criticism from healthcare professionals. One went as far as to say that Kemp could be setting the stage for a punishing new wave of infections.
They think the governor is making a mistake.
We do, too.
Rather than lifting his order entirely, Kemp could have explored other options, perhaps following the lead of other states, such as Colorado.
Our neighbors to the West have relaxed the stay-at-home restriction and moved to a new phase, called Safer at Home.
Under the Safer at Home initiative, most Coloradans not just the elderly or the medically fragile have been told to limit social interactions. Gatherings of more than 10 people remain prohibited. And individual counties and cities are allowed to implement stricter measures to help prevent the spread of new cases.

I am so tired of these fear mongers. Seriously, what do they get out of it? There must be money changing hands somewhere!
"The Wuhan virus appears to be an incredible and suspiciously timely gift for the globalists to push through their agenda faster than any of us could have expected.'".....an interesting take.
Know why a spike in cases will be announced to fanfare from certain folks both in and outside of FR?
Increasing of testing will lead to millions of more cases!
Test 30 million with a positive rate of 20%?
Bingo!! 6 million more cases..!
You’re welcome...
How convenient! I’m sure they’re all getting paychecks
Governor should order all journalists to shelter in place. Problem solved.
China would be their better suited option
Lol, when 38% of the population thinks self-distancing rules are only a white man thing, theres really no point in keeping this charade going any longer.
Georgia is correct. It is time to spread herd immunity.
This may sound very naive, but I haven’t had the time to do much proper research. I know the ostensible purpose of all the “flattening the curve” hoo-hah was so the hospitals wouldn’t get overwhelmed. My question is, were there ever any hospitals during this debacle that WERE overwhelmed?
In my state, none even came close, nor do my widely-flung relatives and friends report any. If anything, hospitals are laying people off, and have been doing so since very early on.
Take there pay for two months and see how they feel about opening the economy...
Everything should open no restrictions...no masks and no social disancing..
Just lock down the senior living centers and nursing homes til it passes
Was is so very sad is that a large number of Georgians and Americans still buy into this dangerous idiocy ... and demand that others do the same.
Just watched, very informative!
And another from a Georgia Baptist preacher who was ‘gonna be’ a doctor. Has a good background.

A message from Danny Jones at Northlake Baptist Church.

These writers still have JOBS!
These writers still have JOBS!
....not for long. Bankrupt these rags!
If one looks carefully, one will find there are two sets of people saying it’s too early - those who have plenty for themselves and haven’t really felt the impact, and those who want an-all-controlling nanny state to take over...
Atlanta Urinal Constipation is a pinko commie rag.
Too late now. Every state that opens and then has another Covid outbreak will have to muddle through it. People aren’t going to stand for another shutdown.
