More than 1,300 at Trousdale Turner Correctional Center test positive for COVID-19

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — More than 1,300 individuals at Trousdale Turner Correctional Center have tested positive for COVID-19. In response, Gov. Bill Lee’s Unified Command Group has announced that a mass testing initiative will begin next week for all staff and inmates.

The Tennessee Department of Correction confirmed the positive cases on Friday. Out of the 2,450 total tests, more than 1,300 staff and inmates tested positive.

According to the state, analysis of the test results confirmed that 98% of those who tested positive are asymptomatic.

More than half are infected and 98% of the infected are asymptomatic. In another article of the 1,300+ who are infected, TWO are hospitalized. And the prison is rapidly approaching herd immunity.

1) stay in an isolated place and shelter in place. Don’t go out anywhere. 2)somehow thousands in prison get the virus anyway 3) NOW go outside and travel all over the place.
4) What went wrong?

Thousands more infected. Plus crime goes way up.

This is not the first prison with high rates of covid infection.

What I am not seeing are deaths among the elderly and infirmed prisoners.

Or are prisoners simply too evil to be taken out by a little old virus?

They eat a more balanced diet, so nutritionally they get all minerals and vitamins required daily. So hypertension, obesity, diabetes etc. are controlled better in prison than the general populace. They have it better in some ways that us “free” ones🤪

2. Why are the homeless not dying by the tens of thousands?

Saw Dr. Richard Besser on "Good Morning America" today and he confirmed something I have been reading elsewhere. Testing is sh*t. There are no known accurate tests out there yet.

He said all the test available are too broad, and pick up wide arrays of corona viruses other than Covid 19.

Do you know what's worse than no information? Bad information.

What were they testing for? Viral snippets? Can they distinguish between Covid 19 and ordinary Corona Viruses like the common cold?

Exactly. The infection is being spread by asymptomatic people. And only a fraction of those who get the virus gets sick. Time to go back to work. We've been had.
