PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A group of 20 merchants in Philadelphia say policies set forth by the city during the COVID-19 pandemic has caused an alarming epidemic of shoplifting, and in some cases, mobs of people.
In one incident at the 7-Eleven store at 22nd & Market streets, video shows a group of about eight to 10 kids come in and spread out throughout the store. Each starts collecting items from different shelves and refrigerators before suddenly running for the door. The owner says this has happened two to three times since the pandemic.
Wrong thread?
Hey, was thinking about you yesterday
How are you holding up?
Philly ping!
Antifa Thugs Unmasked By Laws Originally Passed Against The KKK
"In a twist of delicious irony, a law originally enacted to deal with the Ku Klux Klan led to the unmasking of several Antifa thugs on the streets of Auburn, Alabama, Tuesday."
Meanwhile, Wolf and the legislature lock up the healthy and law-abiding.
“Shoot them.”.
Agreed. They need to take a lesson from the Korean shopkeepers in 1993 Los Angeles.
Soon to be followed by “food deserts”.
You might call that their just deserts...
That’s the future of many formerly black areas all over the country; since the end of “cash for kids” (1996 Welfare Reform), many American welfare sows just pop out one “golden ticket welfare bastard” - while Mexicans have more, and are reinforced by a constant flow of newcomers.
Many workplaces are also experiencing the same thing as the Compton mall.
That’s good to see.
But (ofc) there’s no irony in a law that was made to unmask Democrat thugs being used to ... unmask Democrat thugs.
And when all the businesses close in that area the poverty pimps will yell racism.
If they limit the number of people in the store at a time the poverty pimps will yell racism.”
Who gives a flying sex act if a bunch of losers yell “racism”? One either stands up to bullies, or one bends over. The action of tiptoeing around on eggshells, trying desperately to avoid offending the perpetually-offended, is stupid, weak, and invites attack.
It is beginning.
Exactly. Rob & victimize grocery stores out of existence then complain when you want to buy one bar of soap, you pay for and receive the item through a slot in bullet proof glass, from a Korean merchant.
Democrats have absolutely no interest in helping law abiding citizens.
That is simply a fact.

That’s why they’ve been releasing criminals under the lie of “safety” during Covid19.
Either it is a guideline or it is a rule of law, how can you fine some one when it is only supposed to be a guideline?
There's got to be some legal difference, I personally believe mayor Kenney stepped outside of his executive power. If he wants to ticket and fine people, he should have made it into EO/law. If you want to make citizenry follow the law, you can't issue public health ‘guidelines’.
Moved everything of value from my house except my tv and drum kit.

>>> The area is center city. very high end residential population. Cole Hamels (baseball star) lived 4 blocks away. A lot of the small stores are owned by minorities. Paki, Indian, etc.
They are just exercising their minority status that is so lauded and praised these days.
I have lived in the NY/NJ area for decades, been in Philly very many times, and I can say I never found it to be “the city of brotherly love”.
Many years ago, I took an out of town friend, with her small son, to Philly to see a few sights. We went to Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and the Franklin Institute. Then we thought we’d take her son to the Zoo.
There was an information booth in Independence Square. We asked the person there how we could get out to the zoo without driving our car out there. We figured we could avoid taking the car out of the parking garage, the traffic out to the zoo and finding parking near the zoo. We told the lady we wanted to take the kid to the zoo and hoped we still had time. She gave us some maps and a bus schedule for a bus that went out past the zoo. We thanked the lady for the maps and the bus schedule.
We found the bus stop near Independence Square that went out past the Zoo, and waited not too long for the bus. Getting on when it arrived, we told the bus driver we were taking the kid to the zoo and wanted to be sure we had the right bus. He said it was the right bus.
We enjoyed the ride out to the zoo, observing what Philly looked like along the way. We got out at the stop for the zoo. We noticed the entrance gates to the zoo across the street looked closed. The bus had not left the stop yet when I went back to the bus, and leaned into the doorway. I said to the bus driver: Are we at the right place for the entrance to the zoo, the gates across the street look closed.
He answered nonchalantly: The Zoo is closed today, it’s Monday.
No one in Philly “helping us” seemed to care that there was no point in us trying to get to the zoo that day.
By the time we waited and then took the bus back to Independence Square we had wasted at least a couple hours.
So much for “brotherly love”.
“Ever notice that blacks like the Obamas or Oprah never invest their money into opening stores in inner cities?
They have the resources to do so yet choose not to.”
They’d rather “invest” in orphanages and schools in Africa — far out of range of auditors or factcheckers who might discover the schools & orphanages don’t actually exist, except on paper.
