A former NYPD officer is suing the department and male officer who she alleges repeatedly harangued her with lewd remarks and asked her if she would perform a sex act with someone sitting on a toilet.
Ex-NYPD officer Emily Brucato charges in a lawsuit filed on Sunday in Brooklyn federal court that over several months in 2017, then-Lt. Jonathan Blatt subjected her to a barrage of filthy comments including asking her to have a threesome, saying its OK my wife gave me the go ahead.
Would you ever give a Blumpkin? Blatt allegedly asked Brucato on one occasion, using a slang term for performing oral sex on someone sitting who is on the commode.
Brucato, 30, was assigned to an East Harlem Housing Bureau in July 2016 when, almost immediately, Blatt began giving her and another female rookie too much attention, her suit alleges.
Blatt handpicked Brucato to drive him around in an NYPD cruiser for tasks unrelated to police work like getting his teeth cleaned in Manhattan and picking up his favorite doughnuts in the Bronx, she alleges.
During these rides, Blatt barraged with crude remarks, like requesting the threesome and commenting that another female officer has a nice a that really fills out those administrative pants, her suit alleges.
Have you ever had sex with a black man? Blatt allegedly asked Brucato while out on another mortifying ride.
Brucato claims that after continually rebuffing Blatts advances, he retaliated against her by ordering her to arrest a violent, emotionally disturbed person, she says.

He still works for NYPD...He has been demoted to sergeant for his behavior...
She will end up getting some settlement money from City of New York...
Could some guy, working in private sector, get away with making those silly comments to a female co-worker?
I don't think NYPD could do too much to punish this male cop because of civil service regulations...Or union agreements...
New York City is the same as is was when it was New Amsterdam.
No shock there.
So we are getting back to normal?
lol!
Isn't she a cop? Is she only supposed to arrest grandmothers? If women officers are scared to arrest violent perps then maybe they shouldn't be on the streets.

A good point...
What the male supervisor told her to do is defensible...Both male and female cops should be able to handle violent suspects...
But, I still think that the male cop acted like an idiot when he made those comments...Those comments are not defensible...
Anytime the city has a cop trying to become romantically involved with their law enforcement partner, the city and it’s residents are getting screwed, regardless of the personal outcome.
You are right, they are no defensible. The comments have no place in a workplace, period. But a cop being ‘punished’ by having to arrest people is sort of like a grade school janitor being ‘punished’ by having to clean up some kids puke. It’s no fun but it’s part of the job.
