Now-imperiled case against Flynn cost him millions of dollars, his house, his job

Michael Flynn is celebrating the newest developments in his case, as the Justice Department unsealed FBI files revealing agents discussed their motivations for interviewing him in the Russia probe—questioning whether they wanted to “get him to lie” so he'd be fired or prosecuted, or get him to admit wrongdoing.

But whether or not this leads to his vindication legally, the case has come at an enormous cost for the retired three-star Army lieutenant general and his family, as he racked up millions of dollars in legal bills, was forced to sell his house, lost his job, and saw his reputation sullied.

Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell told Fox News on Thursday that in light of the new internal FBI documents, “this persecution will have to be thrown out entirely.”

This is not over. The judge has called Flynn a traitor in open court and has not dismissed the case. Look at what happened, and is still happening, to Stone. They can not drop the Flynn charges because it would show that the mueller investigation was totally corrupt along with the fbi, doj, the senate and the house investigations. Remember, linda and the turtle were members of the gang of eight and would have known all along what was going on.

Once Barr dismisses the case, then Sydney can really become a barracuda. Imagine the millions Flynn could receive by PERSONALLY suing all the bad players. He needs to recoup all he lost X10.

There are a lot of terrible things that can happen to a person but, IMO, being wrongly accused of something has to be one of the worst. Imagine waking up one day, and your life is over through no fault of your own.

This genius starts her opus:
“Michael Flynn is celebrating the newest developments in his case..”
Who wouldn’t?

The only measure of justice Flynn can expect to receive may come if he wins a civil suit against the perpetrators. I don’t expect Bagpiper Bill to do jack squat.

Jim Comey made something like 12 million dollars on his book advance I say strip Comey of his advance and give it to Flynn. Done.

Yep. There is a storm coming. There will be retribution. And it used to wear three stars.

Criminal prosecution aside, the civil lawsuits are going to be massive. He will need his lawyers to file motions to prevent any transfer or liquidation of assets by those he is going to dismantle.

“He will need his lawyers to file motions to prevent any transfer or liquidation of assets by those he is going to dismantle.”

Hopefully, those motions would have been filed by now, but I expect the traitors have been seeing the handwriting on the wall for months now. All of their grandmas probably got very rich recently.

Garnish their pensions. Find their bank accounts. Drain them.

The biggest reason the judge can't dismiss the case very easily is that dropping the case in an implicit admission of perjury on the part of Flynn in his guilty plea.

That -- not some "Deep State" conspiracy -- is actually the underlying dilemma the judge faces here.

It’s amazing how slow the wheels of justice turn

Can you imagine what would’ve happened if Hillary Clinton was elected and all these people were still in power?

It took three years for the Russia hoax to finally unravel with the appearance of the mouse Mueller

And now here we are three years later and the Flynn prosecution which we’ve all known was complete crap from the beginning is finally completely falling apart

I believe that they’re just gonna continue to plow the lawn and gather evidence and we’re going to see the fur fly this summer

Flynn was forced into a plea deal in what amounts to extortion. If you buy that Flynn was framed, then why would you not believe that Flynn was coerced into the plea deal? What would you do to protect your son from the likes of the mueller investigation?

It can’t be done arbitrarily. There would have to be a foundational document (an indictment) that communicates a compelling need to freeze assets, so I do not think it has been done......yet.

When a person is wrongly accused and loses their career and reputation, they survive knowing with absolute certainty that they are blameless of the charges. The guilty are the accusers. They may never understand the wrong they have created but they express the guilt of their crimes in their indifference to others. Thus they become pariahs to friends, acquaintances, and coworkers.
