South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, who did not issue a stay-at-home order for her state, was surprised with a parade in her honor as residents praised the Republican's leadership during the coronavirus pandemic.
Video footage posted on the governor's Twitter account shows fire trucks blaring their sirens and people honking from their cars as Noem walks out of what appears to be the governor's mansion in Pierre.
The woman filming her tells the governor, "It's a parade for you! Wave to them!" and Noem waves as she appears to get a little emotional.
"I am so blessed to serve the people of the great State of South Dakota," she tweeted. "You folks made my day!"

I saw her being interviewed the other night. She is a very intelligent woman. I’m sure she puts more thought into her policies than nearly any other of these clods.
She was in the US house for at least one term. Bueller?

This is great but remember what the Political Elite did to the last GOP woman.
Both parties destroyed Sarah Palin and her family.
I love Sarah, but, in all honesty,
her family did a pretty good job of destroying themselves.

“Michiganders Honk for Freedom” — 8pm nightly. Car horns sounding throughout the state every night at 8pm for a minute, until freedom and constitutionality return.
Seems she is possibly headed for the oval office some day.
What she did took courage. Uncommon courage it seems.
I am impressed with Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota.
We can only hope. She is the best governor by far and would be a great president.
She has my vote for 2024! Abbott better just get ready for retirement now, his future political career is finished.
I grew up in Pierre and my brother was friends with Gov Joe Foss’s son. Pierre was a great place to live as a kid.
