Again with the experts? I’m starting to think the greatest risk to our health is health experts.

I question all the homemade cloth masks people are wearing. Just a false sense of safety.

A bit of ass-covering by so-called "experts" who are clearly clueless.

Notice how they use the term "health experts" and not "doctors"?

The two guys who got censored by YouTube were actual M.D.s who treat actual patients. They are being shouted down by "health experts" who likely have some sort of public health degree from the usual assortment of Leftist universities.

“The mask is a reminder to keep me from touching my face.”

That’s legit. I can see that.

The SKorean study I cite was linked within the Italian article you cited, which also offers yet another mechanism by which HCQ taken in advance prevents Covid infections. All together they offer reasonable proof for 400mg/d being protective. I’d really like 400mg/week to be protective but haven’t yet seen results from any of the studies testing that.

For those who aren’t convinced treat the now willing only now. The others will either get sick, get convinced or stay lucky. You’ll still smother the fire, just not as quickly.

I was standing in line at our local radiology place the other day to get my foot xrayed. Masks were a requirement. I’m standing there watching people and touching their mask or face over and over is what everyone with a mask on was doing. Constantly adjusting and readjusting them. If there was corona virus in the place everyone had it all over their face. That’s the first time I’ve worn a mask and only because I broke my toe and needed the xray. I’ll shop at places that don’t require them.

I’ve seen a ton of similar memes like this. Is there a real supporting document with detailed evidence for these percentages?

Not slamming it. I’d just really like to read more details into the studies that determined this.

Yes, I have noticed that. Even the so-called doctors on President Trump’s task force have never treated a covid patient. I’d like to see him add a doctor who has to the team.

That’s why I always keep my hands covered in honey.

From the PA web site: Members of the public are encouraged to wear homemade cloth or fabric masks. Save surgical masks and N95 respirators for our health care workers and first responders. Remember this saying: “My mask protects you, your mask protects me.” >>> I try to educate people but even our nurse friend thinks that a three ply t shirt mask will be as good as an N95. If it doesn’t seal around your face air tight it is not protecting you. I wear my shop mask to the entertainment of all. and i will start wearing my trump hat as im pretty incognito with the mask.

Hence the name surgical masks duh. They keep the surgeon from breathing droplets into you while you’re cut open. They were never meant to protect the surgeon.

Bullshit.
Watch this.

https://streamable.com/3319z2>>>
excatly. the mask protects the other person from you. The mask doesn’t protect you. The video should show the person with the mask inhaling the dust cloud and seeing the dust go around the mask into the persons mouth. Unless the mask is sealed air tight around your face it will not protect the wearer. wear a shop mask. The exhale is controlled but the inhale stops p95%.

That’s legit. I can see that.>>> and that is wise to know also a 3M 6001 shop mask will protect you. Completely air tight and p95 rated.

I didn’t say the masks were of no value. I’m saying they offer a false sense of security. Did you pay attention to your own numbers? Forget the numbers in the middle of the graphics. That’s dependent of BOTH parties wearing masks. What this graphic tells me is that, by wearing the blue-and-white mask, I’m 50% safer than if I didn’t. That means I’m still 50% at risk!

Just like condoms during the AIDS crisis, the prevention is portrayed as a silver bullet. People will take risks wearing a mask because they’re wearing a mask instead of doing other measures.

Plus the masks represent only airborne infection. I would not be shocked at all if a great number of infections are by people handling things without gloves that have been contaminated. I wipe down everything I buy in the store and I take a shower as soon as I return home.

Health care workers take great risks and deserve the best protection possible. But, again, masks not a silver bullet.

For going to the grocery, Bass Pro 😊 and other essential places I think the masks are helpful. We wear them everywhere until flu season is over.
