There was a billion people at the beaches and parks in Brooklyn today.

Didn’t look any different than a normal day.

Restaurants are doing mad takeout

Need to open up everything.

There was NO social distancing and almost no one wearing masks.

Lots of cop cars but they didn’t bother anybody.

So might as well open

Our crap for brains Kentucky governor has no plans for us even though states on our borders with worse numbers than ours are opening up. Our putz governor is following the rat playbook to the letter. Having governor races stolen have consequences.

Maine May 1

The stages focus not on essential v. non-essential designations like those used to originally limit business operations and activities, but on the ability of a business to operate or an activity to occur in a manner that protects public health and safety.

The Governor also announced today she will extend the State’s stay-at-home order in the form of a new “Stay Safer at Home” Executive Order. The new Order, which she will issue by Thursday, will continue to have Maine people stay at home with limited exceptions ...

Health care
Personal services: Barber shops, hair salons, and pet grooming
Limited drive-in, stay-in-your-vehicle religious services
[Full and unrestricted] Drive-in movie theaters
Outdoor recreation: guided outdoor activities (hunting & fishing) and restricted use of golf and disc golf courses
State parks, state-owned public land trails, and historic sites; although certain coastal state parks will remain closed
Auto dealerships and car washes

I live in North Dakota. I’m retired but work part-time as a bartender. My bar has been only doing off-sale liquor and take-out food. But, on May 1st our governor is allowing bars and restaurants to open with full service with some restrictions.
