Over the last few weeks, the country has managed to stabilize the spread of the coronavirus sufficiently enough to begin debating when and in what ways to “reopen,” and to normalize, against all moral logic, the horrifying and ongoing death toll — thousands of Americans dying each day, in multiples of 9/11 every week now with the virus seemingly “under control.” The death rate is no longer accelerating, but holding steady, which is apparently the point at which an onrushing terror can begin fading into background noise. Meanwhile, the disease itself appears to be shape-shifting before our eyes.

We also knows it advances to a direct viral attack on every organ exposed to it. Producing a cardiomyopathy. We know the microemboli produce renal failure. Closer we get to actually reopening the more hysterical they are getting. Stories of doctors killing themselves over COVID-19, the second wave, etc.. I am reading a book about Father Amorth, was one of the Vatican’s leading exorcists. When demons are about to be expelled from someone they flail around verbally and physically inside the person, saying anything, making threats, making up stories to prevent them from leaving. We are expecting to get news, from news media.

What’s the “moral logic” that the author uses to “normalize” the 50 million people in the world that die each year? How does he ever sleep at night, or smile, or even breathe, when he should be spending every moment mourning the loss of every soul?
The best theory I have heard is that the virus attacks red blood cells in way that limits their oxygen carrying capability.
I’m sure there are other theories. This one just feels right to me.

It’s not just hypoxia. Exposure of the vascular endothelium basement membrane is very thrombogenic. I do believe that is where the whole thing starts. As it progresses microemboli become strands of clot/. So that’s what you see in the lungs. One of the functions of the lungs is to filter emboli. And that’s what they see int the lungs. Strands of clot. Pulmonary tissue that has been savaged by direct viral attack. Loss of Type I and II pneumocytes do to direct viral attack. It’s exactly what they are describing in the CTs and on the posts. It’s a lot more than just hypoxia.
Frankly I doubt RBCs are much involved. So a virus binds to it and inserts it’s genome? Then what? Nothing is what. RBCs can’t process a viral genome.
