Bryan Cranston questioned the sanity of both President Trump and his supporters in a fiery tweet presented with little context over the weekend.
The Breaking Bad actor became the latest Hollywood star to criticize Trump and his administration as they respond to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Clearly not happy with the way that Trump is guiding the country through this unprecedented time, Cranston took to Twitter on Saturday to take a jab at both the president and those that support him.
I've stopped worrying about the president's sanity. He's not sane, the 64-year-old actor wrote. And the realization of his illness doesn't fill me with anger, but with profound sadness. What I now worry about is the sanity of anyone who can still support this deeply troubled man to lead our country.

Bryan who?
ACTOR’S_OPINION_PING!
Oh Noes! A Hollywood actor with a political opinion...shush everyone. Stop what you’re doing. This is important!
well if ones mental projection is based on bs then I can see where they are, dillusional, full of themselves, embracing sin as normal, yea God has His day for that, it may be closer than we think
Sounds like Bryan Cranston has sampling a little too much of the blue crystal he produced as Walter White in Breaking Bad.
It’s going to his brain.
Suddenly all of Hollywood are board certified psychologists. Amazing how they award themselves these titles. Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Gore are obviously Professors of atmospheric physics and Bryan Cranston and Rob Reiner are shrinks who have the remarkable ability to diagnose someone they never met nor talked to.
Who is this guy and why do I care? About anything he says? This is news?
Why are there still “news” stories about celebrities who say bad things about Trump?
Isn’t this an hourly occurence? Who the heck cares?
If Fox “News” didn’t deem the comments of this “person” worthy, I wouldn’t know about it. Knock it off.
anyone who makes a livelihood pretending to be someone else (actor) shouldn’t be lecturing me about sanity.
As if we give a shit about what some celebrity opines!
Oh please great and wonderful Hollywood star please please tell us how to think.
Bryan Cranston is living proof that Anthony Hopkins, a real actor, was right when Anthony said, “Actors are pretty stupid!”
Anthony Hopkins on Why He Doesnt Talk About Politics: Actors Are Pretty Stupid!!!
In a conversation with fellow actor Brad Pitt for a lengthy chat for Interview magazine, Anthony Hopkins explained why he seldom actually: never talks about politics... and why hes not a big fan of other actors talking about politics either. In short: Actors are pretty stupid.
People ask me questions about present situations in life, and I say, I dont know, Im just an actor, Hopkins told Pitt. I dont have any opinions. Actors are pretty stupid. My opinion is not worth anything. Theres no controversy for me, so dont engage me in it, because Im not going to participate.
They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously after all, if an athlete/entertainer is paid a million or more a year, he/she knows he/she is important so his/her opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he/she proves themself to be both ignorant and sub literate every time he/she opens their mouth. (Most of his/her fans were just as ignorant and unlettered; the disease was spreading.)
Robert A. Heinlein, To Sail Beyond the Sunset
He’s not sane
How would he know Cranston is a product of Hollywood told what to say and when to say it mindless creature at best.
The otherwise fading celebrities of yester years are just role playing political intelligence in order to cash-in on whatever residual âbrand equityâ they think they have left in order to find a place under the âpoliticalâ sun.....having such delusions of grandeur that they think the world wants their opinions regardless of their level of ignorance.
“...What I now worry about is the sanity of anyone who can still support this deeply troubled man to lead our country.
When the Dixie Chicks received “shut up and sing” backlash, it hurted their poor feelings so badly that they fled country music.
Haven’t heard from them since.
Would be nice if actors got the same treatment.
I was lying in bed last night tossing and turning. I just couldn’t get to sleep. I was wondering what Bryan Cranston thought about the President and his supporters. Not!
